So, if we would go by the US standarts it would be equal to 36 years if they wanted to shoot Muhteşem Yüzyıl.

This is the thing which reduces overall quality of the Turkish serials. Long air times and many episodes means much commercials = more $$$....

So, if TRT goes by private TV's standarts, they will eventually drop the quality...but there is chance that they can maintain the overall quality as it's the state TV, they don't have a lust for the money. (not talking about the government. )

really?? i never watched Muhtesem Yuzyil.. 100-120 min for every episode is crazy stuff. if Dirilis Ertugrul stays good, i wouldnt mind 100-120 min. i never watch tv at all, so watching it on youtube without commercials is way more convenient.
