When China started to use capital from Europe and Asia with its cheap labor to establish its own hegomony, Japan began to review its policies against China. In addition, Taiwan, Vietnam is approaching this block. Vietnam is the most economically and politically profitable one. It both attracts capital and is included in the broad alliance against the Chinese threat.

With the start of Industry 4.0 from the mid-2020s, the capital will quickly leave China and will be able to produce with the help of robots and artificial intelligence, even in a basement in its own country, in an unlit environment.

Actually, the way things are going, and with all the economic mayhem taking place in US and EU, I can say with certainty that China will turn into the Global Finance Capital of the World within 10 years. These news about capital leaving China are fake.

.
They left China because they were defeated by Chinese domestic phone makers. They were kicked out to be more accurate.
2/3 factories in Guang dong r leaving bcs they r kicked out ?? Why ppl living there think they r leaving due to trade war and high labor cost ??

-----
Dongguan used to be bursting with factory workers but now with factories gone, people are gone as well,” one taxi driver told Reuters.

“This complex used to be full of workers, eating and chatting when they got off work. Now look at this,” he said, pointing to empty dark alleys in an open air dining place one recent weekday evening.

EXPORTS FALL
The slowdown comes as data on Monday showed China’s exports unexpectedly fell the most in two years in December and imports also contracted, pointing to further weakness in the world’s second-largest economy in 2019.

Policy sources told Reuters last week China plans to set a lower economic growth target of 6-6.5 percent this year compared with last year’s target of “around” 6.5 percent.

A recent UBS China survey of 200 manufacturing companies with significant export business or supply to exporters revealed the trade war has had a negative impact on 63 percent of those businesses.

A quarter of those affected have cut jobs, 37 percent have moved production out of China in the past 12 months, while 33 percent plan to move in the next 6-12 months.

Haha, what happened to MAKE IN INDIA.
So the world needs to move to another East Asian country after China.
Or rather PART East Asian.

China had a great opportunity to become one of the three top financial capitals of the world but completely screwed it up. Hong Kong was already close to New York and London before Xi Jinping and co started monkeying with the island - now with Singapore having stepped up and Brexit creating competition in Europe (Paris may be) China not only missed the bus, they sealed their options shut.

On top of that, the virus screw up and the utter dishonesty in communications related to virus data from Wuhan has lost any remnant trust for China. As countries and companies dive deep into their 'investments' into Chinese companies they are realizing that their investments do not directly attach to the actual property in China but rather to a 'variable interest' special vehicle - meaning they can get zilch at the will and pleasure of CPC.

Add to that the perpetual intellectual property theft that China is known for. The 1000 lights scheme also now stands exposed

With these 4 factors, China has completely failed in that mission.

Why aren't they coming to India. Not cool.

I have no problem with this (Sony and Samsung news) at all.

Samsung and Sony phones had proven to be noncompetitive in China. If they want to leave to save labor cost, good for them. It only means what the Chinese government accomplished is effective, average Chinese is getting richer. They are no longer the sweat shop of the old.

Chinese are getting more educated, they deserved to get higher end work and to get higher pay.

This is the perfect example of both side part way amicably.

average Chinese is getting richer.
But hundred millions poor Cnese workers is getting poorer when they lose their job bcs 2/3 factories are leaving CN due to trade war.

Those poor Cnese dont even have enough rice to eat now cos they have No job due to Covid.

.
China has a market of more than 1 billion people. This is a gold mine for domestic companies. "Capital leaves China" is good news for China. China can use this to encourage the export of cheap surplus goods and prevent foreign companies from accessing - returning to the Chinese market. 1 stone kills two birds

Samsung went from a 20% market share in China back in 2013 to 0% now. Huawei, Oppo, Xiaomi, Vivo killed them.

If it weren't for the policies persecuting Huawei, they would have lost the No. 1 spot to Huawei by now.
