Pakistan can do very well,it needs a stable governance and strong democracy which can't be hijacked.

Certainly Pakistan has the potential of becoming a Asian tiger.

Need few things to be adddressed here and not that easy.

1) Savings/GDP needs to increase 2.5 folds from current 14 percent to 35 percent.
2) Privated investment/GDP needs to increase 2.5 folds too from current 12 percent to 26-30 percent of GDP
3) Must win WOT as well as improve security situtation.
4) Instead of looking at Friends of Pakistan, Pakistan need at least 10 years of hard work to raise its domestic resources.
5) Bring down the Current account balance close to zero.
6) Move towards industrial economy from its current aggrarian economy.
7) Increase global competitiveness in certain select products which could bring lots of hard $$$$$..


These are very hard task.. only dream not going get you anywhere.

i think Pakistan is already a world tiger....
reasons:-
-Pakistan is involved in wars from last more then 25 years,directly or indirectly (Firstly USSR in Afghanistan and now WOT). if you dont want include indians war factors on Pakistan
-No other country had ever involved so long in wars of the worlds like this b4 and still growing at lower rate.
