Can you guys please clarify what is the current production rate with the second production line inducted last month?
Also approx when new production plant going to get inducted? I heard it's already under process & will be 16 per year once operational.

The fourth series production Light Combat Aircraft, Tejas-SP4 (LA-5004) today Friday, took to the skies for the first time in a successful 20-minute sortie.

After a couple of evaluation sorties, she will become the fourth member of Flying Daggers.

Flying Daggers squadron, presently in Bengaluru, has only three aircraft (Tejas-SP1, SP2 and SP3) and SP4 when delivered to Indian Air Force will make it Fourth Aircraft to join Flying Daggers.

16-19 by 2019/20, can/will be expanded to >24/year with an increase in outsourcing from current target of 60% to 80% of LRUs with no additional infrastructure at HAL.
