Lets forget their other conquests and feats.Whenever Afghan Pathans have invaded north-western Indian sub-continent they have won mainly one-sided battles. Caused a lot of destruction and misery. USSR and the US failed to tame them. I don't think Pakistani Punjabis are any match for them. Bombing or nuking them isn't an option. I don't think any south Asian country can tame the Afghans for that matter. No offence.

Agreed, Pakistan shouldn't have done anything. But when millions streamed over Pakistan's borders, when their government in exile asked for Pakistani help, they themselves bought Pakistan into the equation.
The US and USSR did indeed fail in their endeavours, but Pakistan doesn't need to fight anyone. Just look after its Western border.
Also, it's not just Pakistani Punjabis who would just fight.......

Read the news again they have declared jihad against ISI and army which they think is dominated by Punjabis. Their hatred is only towards Pakistani Punjabi. It's obvious.

Perhaps you watch too much bollywood, but I would love for you as an Indian Muslim to confront me, a Punjabi musalmaan. Remember that the Afghans that live in Punjab are not ruling us. We treat them fairly, but God forbid if anyone tries to step up on our rights.

Punjabi Musalamaan lol? Bhai yeh jhooti akhaad jaake mohajir bhaiyye ko dikha. No Punjabi ruler ever ruled Punjab. Only Punjabis who have to little to brag about are Sikhs maybe. I don't know why some folks are even taking this seriously, i am sure our establishment will not act the same way. Its not that Mawlavi Ahmad Gul is the pope kind of figure in Afghanistan who can declare a crusade on his own, Jihad can not be declared by a couple of mullahs who are on NDS payroll and have no real power.

We need to stay focused and work with Afghan gov. and Taliban to find a peaceful settlement, ISIS has arrived in the region and they don't believe in borders. I am not saying Pakistan can't handle ISIS alone if it ever tries to cross the border and try to create a sanctuary for itself here but a joint effort by Pakistan and Afghan forces no matter how weak they are will yield much better results.

ISIS is real and it has already started spreading its influence in Pakistan, i have met quite a few young men in Pakistan who are quite impressed with them. This threat needs to be neutralized immediately and we need both Afghan gov. and Afghan Taliban on board for doing that. So pay no attention to these jokers.
