Afghanistan's economy is built on drugs. It's the reason why the army is corrupt as hell , why the country is filled with warlords, why half the country is still living in the stone age. Maybe if there was a real industry in Afghanistan, Afghanistan wouldn't be a collapsed 3rd world state filled with groups like the Taliban fighting for dominance.
