What did west against pkk in 3 decades other than calling them terrorists? Or how much did they help us with 1.5 million refugees?
How can they ask us to fight a war that would have no benefical outcome for us but probably spill the war over to Turkey wich has a 800 km border with conflict zone, not to mention that it would play in our enemys hands, while they themselves are thousand of km away from war, just sitting comfortably in their jets and randomly strike places from the air?

Turkey isnt stupid enough to help its decades long enemy (pkk and its branch pyd) only because westerners would be offended, no matter how much bad PR we get, in the end it only shows us how much our allies care for our security.

I can't recall the US requesting you fight a large scale war, just that you drive them out of one town, probably the most important town from a strategic perspective. It simply makes sense to ask countries which are right on Syria's borders to do more to stop ISIS then countries which are far away, given that they pose a greater threat to you then to us.

A pertinent question is Whether Turkey will pay in Euro or Lira?

I definitely don't want Turkey to join the EU but then again I don't want Britain to be a member either. It's little more than a German Empire in another form.

EEC is protectionism much worser then USA. The EEC has subsidized European farmers and dumped its cheap products everywhere around the globe (poor nations without protection of their own economy) which lead to destruction of local farmers and factories. The EEC does not represent peace (please, giving it a novel peace price is pathetic) neither does it do anything good for the rest of the world. In the EEC it is all about getting the votes for stupid detailed laws, get as much as possible for doing less as possible ( I have checked hundreds millions of Euro coming from EEC and it is at least unbelievable where it went in the end). Even the voted people just sign their names for meetings and run away to get the cash. It is a window dressing.

I think those that stayed out of the Euro did a good job...

US apparently doesnt see ayn al arab as an important strategic city. Therefore, Turkey conveniently adds this statement to the ever increasing list of why Turkey should not interfere there. In reality ayn al arab is used as nothing but a tool to increase pressure on Turkey since no one really gives a damn about pkk/pyd combating isis there. The 'civilians will be massacred by isis when ayn al arab falls' is nothing but a cheap attempt to paint Turkey black, simply because almost all citizens are already in Turkey as refugees.

Please, i almost beg you Europeans, keep voting no about Turkey joining the EU. You, the European public, are our, majority of Turkish public's, backup in case the EU and our Turkish govt suddenly gets real about joining the EU. No to Turkey in the EU.

There's nothing wrong with economic protectionism which all successful countries have practiced. The problem with the EU is that it undermines the identity and sovereignity of all its individual member states. This is especially true in the case of Britain, which has a Common Law legal system and is gradually being forced to become Napoleonic.

The Americans want us in the EU to work for their interests inside it, the same way Russia uses countries like Greece and Bulgaria.

There is nothing wrong for those that subsidized and protected. Tell that to those poor nations that have high import tax on their items. I do not call that fair trade but monopoly. You need to look beyond your scope that it is good. Look what it caused... All the farmers in Africa are gone... It was a lot cheaper to buy powder milk. Tell me what the results is of western getting richer en the others getting poor. Not because of these people could not produce but because the west pretty much destroyed their production facilities. Then they are shouting loud about immigrants. What do you expect from them? Sit and die?

Every country is out for their own interests. You can't be nice when it comes to foreign policy. Nice countries end up being conquered or going bankrupt.
