Biryani: Hindu or Muslim ?

.
Does it matter? either way it's Indian - and not Pakistani or Bangladeshi. In my local town there are over 100 restaurent/takeways on one section of a road. This is what we have -

Indian
Asian
Indian/Kashmiri
Polish
Italian
Persian
Kurdish
British
Afghan
Indian Bangla

The local population of area where these restaturents are lined up is about 70% Pakistani, 10 Bangla and thern the rest. Pakistanis simply do not have restaurents or even cuisine.

Does a Biryani have to have a nationality?
I see that you just issued an Indian passport to it without ever mulling over it.
Keep on keeping..

If you think that sounds crazy well I could ask does Biryani have to have a religion as that is what OP asks? And food does tend to have national branding.

What are You talking about? Pakistani's do not have a cuisine?

.
Which nation?
German with American contribution to making it international/ *Hamburg* German Port city.

Now what religion is tea or what religion is bread?

Pakistani's do not have a cuisine?
At the perceptive, practical and public level the answer is emphatic "No". What you or I think counts 'jack'.

there is huge different of taste between Pakistani and indian food.even sikh food and punjabi muslim food taste different.
if you ask me how i know?
i ate from kerala sikh and pakistani restaurants from more 10 years daily three meal of the day.
and this includes all mostly third second and some first-class restaurants.
my most fav is kerala meda chappati.i like it more than prathas.
and Indian people also come for eating Pakistani dishes at Pakistani restaurants mostly because of non-veg dishes like biryani and tikka.
