Big Three could control revamped ICC

This is just a sign of India's soft power beginning to show and India is become more assertive in the world stage..

So it will become the " International Cricketing Cartel " and destroy the game , end the cricket as we know it ? Since well , these three will control everything without any checks and balances , play with whoever they want and have a lion's share of the revenue .

If UN is not true democracy, some are more equal than others, why should ICC be?

turned down what offer ? :what:o_O

BCCI thought that if Bangladesh comes to India then there wont be much earning because people wont bother about it......
So we turned down your offer that's why Bangladesh didnt come for a tour in India.....:cool:

Because its a game which should maintain a certain distance from the International politics . You want to compare related examples - look at FIFA , there are no 3 , 5 or 10 sole handlers of the organization . Everyone follows the same " relegation and promotion " . Anyways , you aren't getting it anywhere with the member's vote coming in .

Nobody can stop BCCI from ruling, money speaks....:cool:

You will destroy your own revenue base in the long term , this is extremely short term and narrow minded thought actually . How long will your countrymen tolerate the " Big 3 " playing against each other or one/two more ?

Yeah, sorry for mistake we didnt invite you because of reason mentioned above......
But Bangladesh should take advantage of this situation and go to tour only for countries like Newzealand,Austraia and South Africa because next world cup will be held there.....:cool:

that issue is different which has nothing to do with touring other countries, anyway we have that plan.

Key proposals of the draft
  • New executive committee (ExCo) to be set up with permanent memberships for BCCI, CA, ECB, to override all other committees
  • Promotion and relegation in Test cricket, with exceptions made in the cases of BCCI, CA, ECB
  • ICC to be delinked from FTP arrangements, with bilateral agreements only taking over
  • New finance model of ICC revenue distribution
  • Key positions in ICC - ICC chairman, chairmen of ExCo and finance & commerial affairs committee - to be nominees of BCCI-CA-ECB
  • Reinstatement of Champions Trophy in 2017 and 2021 in place of the World Test Championship

Calling it bad for cricket would be an understatement. Making FTP on bilateral basis will mean no more India-WI or Eng-Bng or SAF-Zim series. It would be good for fans of top 4-5 nations but what about other smaller teams ? Shame ! And shame has no limits when it comes to BCCI along ECB & CA :disagree:

and it also put question mark on creditability of ranking system

BCCI can survive on IPL revenues alone..
Australia and UK have pretty strong domestic cricket too..
