Border guard bangladesh has sucessfully resisted a concerted effort by the indian border security force (bsf) to build an unapproved border fence at 2217/4 RB border pillar near kashibari ,Ramgarh area of khagrachari...

Earlier on monday bsf deployed additional troops on the border to build barbed wire fencing within 50 yards from the international border upon which they were intercepted by BGB.They continued with the construction work untill the evening without heeding to verbal warning.the next morning bsf commenced its illegal border fencing but BGB stopped them...

The BSF agreed to stop all border fencing activities untill higher authorities from both sides agree on the design.

that's ok
That's ok? I remember Indians were overjoyed when China stopped work on a road during the Doklam saga...as if it was some sort of Indian victory.

Now that u r on the other end...and Bangladesh forced u to stop construction of that fence..."it's ok"? How fast the Indian logic changes when it applies to them.

We can settle matters amicably.

So is it then Bangladeshi victory and Indian loss? Or if it's not to be seen in that light...does that mean Indians were pleasuring themselves for nothing over Doklam issue?

Seems like manifestations of backlash in Bangladesh.

Hasina and her people are temporary.

This is good.

1) BD economy progressing well which can serve as the fuel to kickstart the rebuilding of armed forces(that have been neglected for far too long).
2) BD looking to buy US equipment/armaments according to recent news.

All that's needed now is to kick out Hasina and the likes...have some non sell out leaders who put BD first rather than pleasing India...and BD would be well on its way to build up its strength and chart its own path.

LOL.

Remember I was telling you about discussions about possible US weapons sales back in January.

Man, I thought that uncle I had dinner with was full of it when he told me about that.

Turns out he was legit.

It's a major shift for Bangladesh which I welcome.

BD's vulnerability was completely exposed in fall 2017.

Part of that is an over-reliance on India as well as China.

I don't know why Hasina is so seemingly pro-India.

But its becoming apparent the average Bangladeshi has growing anti-India sentiment.

And if it's continues, who knows maybe we will see in future ( perhaps in a decade or two? ) that Bangladesh become the arch enemy of India instead of Pakistan ( present arch enemy of India) !

I don't know why Hasina is so seemingly pro-India.
Her father war not! So who knows maybe it's eye washing too?

Coward Indians are the worst enemy of peace with a zigzag philosophy on international matters.
