What's new

Bangladesh is getting closer to Eurofighter Typhoon

.
i have dignosed your disease . it is hinduphobia .
enjoy .

if they can afford it is good option.

Hinduphobia ? You're fk joking right ?

Being against the BJP is anti hindu ?
Makes obvious sense...they can field 15 Rafales instead of 10 EFTs. Going for EFT will be financially dumb and BD administration usually doesn't make such dumb decisions.

Nope lol they will probably go with 16 EFTs since they have better ties with the U.K than France

good to know you are not hinduphobic ?

I said before nothing against bangladesh preparing their defences, every country has the right to do so, but posing India as a threat now itself for some future enemy we might become could actually make us become the enemy neighbour you envision us becoming. The knife of hatred cuts both ways.
Anyways there is no serious aggression between our governments for now, this is limited to pdf so we are cool.
This is pro-AL COAS talking about Bangladesh's adversaries.
He uses the words ''Country with Bigger economy and resources '' when talking about threats to BD sovereignty.

No one pays 500 millions dollars more for 'better relations'. Maybe the saudis can but you can't. Setting up a small servicing facility for 16 jets that are at the same level as the Rafale is an incredibly dumb thing to do when you can do it cheaper.

. . .
We are not buying Rafale . Bd has better defence ties with Leonardo Systems Italy than with any other european defence giant.
Chances of Rafale being procured is very low.

'we have better defence ties with Leonardo Systems, Italy'
When an Indian says this just a couple of years after Feb 27th that is quite funny.

you didn't achieve anything on feb 27. If we come in force you will lose. We decided to integrate Kashmir. So we decided to take the world's attention from any military situation. Else Pak will get needless spotlight.

Indeed . But why we are expecting India as enemy? Because BJP is in power for two consecutive times and I do not think Bangladeshis have the voting right to choose Indian PM.

If you think that after calling us termite and some other names , we will send you rose , you are dead wrong.

Again , do not say that it's BJP not the entire India . I would say that , It's majority Indian who choose their govt so that they can pose a threat to Bangladesh. So better blame yourself if we expect you as future enemy.

If you look at BD's size and neighbours then you will realise expensive BVR twin engined jets are simply impractical. Best get a layer of medium/high altitude SAMs. Simply make it very very expensive for any aggressor to attack. The small size of the country means BD will have minutes (maybe even just seconds) of advance warning.
BD has become flush with money lately, and wants to buy some prestigious toys to show off to the big daddy next door.

BTW- BD will actually integrate Rafale and not EFT. For the simple reason that Dassault will offer their servicing centres based in India for IAF which will make overall cost of ownership significantly cheaper for BD. Plus they can train their pilots here too far cheaper.

We have BAC and other MRO facilities for majority of our aircraft fleet. Besides that we are building our aviation industry in Lalmonirhat and Saudi are interested to invest there. Beside our own aerospace university has started training students. So if we need a MRO facility, we can establish it here. Same for training. We are buy new basic trainers and hopefully we will buy another AJT. Even if we don't we can train our pilots in UK, Italy and Saudi. So don't need your help. :-)

No they won’t. They don’t want to be ripped off for an overhyped ground attack aircraft that does air defence ok.

If there is going to be an MMRCA for BD , it will be Rafale. Period. We know the EFT- no great shakes over Rafale. The incremental capex and opex costs for BD doesn't make any financial sense at all.
