Food photography is a changing field in Bangladesh. Restaurants are using this tool to increase their customer base who are increasingly more discerning in their choices and expectations which must meet the promise of mouth-watering photography in reality. The quality of Food presentation in lifestyle or womens' magazines are also getting to be more skilled and articulate. Images courtesy Rafiqul Islam.

Found some foodie VLOGs from Dhaka - but the under-14 princess debutante antics were driving me up the wall. o_O

Less drama and more comments about the cuisine, ladies!

Here's another VLOG, but this time from the various restaurants as well as the general facility at Radisson BLU 'Bay View' hotel in Chittagong. Agreeably, at this time, probably the best spot to camp up in the city. Not really all that cheap though...

Here's a more professionally made spot for the hotel,

Guys, anyone knows of any real Bengali restaurant in the Miami, Florida area ? I like Dhaka style fish.

Although this is OT, here is a good one. Call ahead to see if they will do Bangladeshi fish dish for you. Hilsa may be available but is quite bony with slender tiny bones - experienced fish eaters only...also ask on the phone where to park, they have a downtown location.

Thank you. I’ll give them a call. It is hard to find even good Pakistani food in south Florida let alone Bangladeshi.

I was going to say " Nirala" ( Pakistani Restaurant) in Ft. Lauderdale/Sunrise area for Karai Gosht, this is the best I ever had.

However, lately I haven't herd anything good about them.

I know them. The quality of karhai is not edible now and they use corn syrup instead of sugar in their sweets. It is really frustrating here in Florida in term of Desi cuisine.
Jackson Heights area in NY is the best but it is too cold to go there now.
