What's new

Bangladesh Airforce inviting tender for 8 MRCA

Especially we have NO Language issues like in case you Take help from
China or Russia

What about Russians and Chinese Pilots and Engineers

This Language issue is a real one

Many Bangladeshi Defence officers speaks & read Chinese & Russian very well, I know quiet a few.We are dealing with them for decades now.

Also learning Chinese has became a new trend among professionals these days. It's no rocket science to learn a new language. It always pays up many folds.

In fact the Bangladesh INDIA Russia Nuclear deal is Precisely Three Party ; Three country deal because of Indian expertise and with Russian Technology and Bangladesh
will have to deal only with India AND not Russia

“Training in complicated technology is very essential. Training of specialists from Bangladesh at Kudankulam NPP in India will be economically beneficial and language-wise acceptable,” a Bangladesh government official told ET from Dhaka on condition of anonymity.

Yes, Bangladesh will be taking help of India in nuclear energy sector. As we are very new in this sector & it's wise to take every step to master it.
On the other hand it is very simplistic to say Bangladesh will stop dealing with Russia.
Maybe you don't know it but, the majority of our researchers are Russian institute graduates. Many of them already attended a Russian institute before.
Initial batch of professionals are already in Russia for higher study, research & training for few years. AND Bangladesh will CONTINUE to do so. We already has a deal with Russia on this matter for many years now.

Their may be professionals who will go to India to train on this sector which I welcome as an wise decision.

Nope, there is no Tri-party deal. All of them are separate bilateral deals, Bangladesh-Russia, India-Russia, Bangladesh-India. Our nuclear scientists are already under training in Russia while Russian experts are in Bangladesh for the construction of the power plant.

Some Bangladeshis speak Russian too...

Я говорю по-русски осень хорошо :)

Nope Its only us who prefered only twin seat Su 30 MKI otherwise you have the option of single seat Su 30
Why do Wikipedia says su 30s are twin seated aircrafts? Are you mixing. Up su27 with su30?

In fact, a comprehensive agreement has just been concluded between Bangladesh and Russia to ensure the smooth transfer of technology.

You should not be Surprised if you read about IAF helping BAF
with Training and Maintenance and even spares now that we are making them
in India

I will be. Reason?

There is no chance in the stars & the universe that to happen.

Not to mention the old "reservation of the military brass" also why do you think Russia will agree to loose business on maintainance & spares? Selling an aircraft is not only an onene time business, it's about continued business too.

Do you realise that if Russia authorise such business between India & BD, they might be lobbied by China to do so, to allow China to sell service to BAF on these aircrafts?

For instance I can assure you BAF will lobby to gain official nod on China & Bangladesh business on Russian aircrafts.

Should they buy J7 (Chinese Mig21), or J-10 (Chinese Euro fighter ). Or they buy Battle tested fighters from Credible Sources like Mighoyan and Sughoi Rather than Chengdu.
What about China buying Su 35 is that because of India too?
yeah chines jets are terrible and they should have gone for the world beater f35 killer LCA Tejas :omghaha::omghaha:

Guess where these will be send for repair and maintenance.:smokin:

But we're getting the training, maintenance and spares along with the eight we are getting now... also including necessary tools, simulators etc. read the tender.

Best of luck guys , No doubt great Bird , Only one question , Is this the latest version ? I mean advance Su-30 with Su-35 upgraded kit???????

And one more thing , Make sure you guys have 2 years worth of spears stocks , Russians are very bad at it,,,,,,,,,,,,,
And what you guys looking for Single Engine Bird?????????????? J-10 Final or not????

If all is final then BD air force will have:
Su-30
Mig-29
J-10

Just woooow

Any of the Chinese planes

PAF has had top line planes for over 60 years now.

Our airforce pilots have outdone the indians in aircombat and the Israelis and Soviets when they came face to face, we have flown everything from Sabres to F16s and had access to GCC inventory to assess

Between us and the Chinese it is PAF that has more combat experience

JF-17s are join venture where Pakistan's experience led development and requirements

We can boost production upto 25 planes snd as subsequent blocks come online they will replace all legacy fighters

Compared to this BAF is monkey balls, we are doing whilst you have pie in the sky dreams of Pakfa and some Bangali prototype

Su30s were never sn option for us outside fanboys imagination
But we despise indians, hate their guts, we understand they are our enemy so even if we bought the Su30 we wouldn't let any indian, or poorly made indian part anywhere near the plane
Bangladesh is steeped in treachery your governments survival depends on indian support, you have been led into a trap where you buy a plane your enemy has hundreds of
You dont get full maintenance capabilities with 12 planes dopey, you will need to rely on Russia or India (even they have the same problem snd are trying to buy the required spare parts making capability) maintenance and service etc will be much easier with india next door then Russia and that is the trap you have stepped into

Pakistani relations with China snd Turkey are much stronger than yours and our airforce much more capable and innovative we are working with both to prepare for a 5th gen option that will be Pakistan specific unlike your general hoping for Pakfa nonsense

Bro, please calm down a bit lol.

BD is not buying PAK-FA as it is a piece of crap to be honest and the Indians may also have it. The J-31 is likely to be the 5th generation plane that starts entering BAF service around 2025 onwards.

As for the SU-30SME, BD really has no choice as it needs a heavy fighter that can support BD Navy out in the Bay of Bengal and China wont sell any of the J-11-series plane abroad.

Dont worry about BAF only buying stuff that India has as it looks very likely that the primary air-superiority fighter will be the J-10B. On the other hand, having aircraft like Mig-29 and Su-30 will work the other way as it will help BAF pilots train against them to be prepared for air-combat against IAF.

Just woooow

It looks almost certain that the primary fighter of BAF will be J-10B.
It is an excellent plane and BD can afford it as China is likely to give a steep discount as well as easy repayment terms.

SU-30SME will most likely to be an advanced version as the tender stated that it needed an ESA radar.
