I bet Negotiations are aimed to order 60 T129 Atak in Azerbaijani colours..
Our previous Defence minister was Russian Educated and couldnt even speak in Azerbaijani well. But, some month ago, he was changed and the new defence minister is strong Turkish friendly. Since he is in new position, he visited Turkey more than twice and i am sure Azerbaijan will purchase more Technology year by year. The only problem for new contracts with Turkey is i think late and low production with new technologies(such as Anka and Helicopter). Turkey should overcome this issue ASAP.Actually this was exactly what I was trying to say
Azerbaijan buys new things every goddamn year
You will buy some T129s then you will go back and buy some more Mi35s..
If it's going to go on like this, Turkey shouldn't sell any T129s to Azerbaijan... Because it would only hurt.
T129 has different spare parts, different weapons, it'll only make it more and more difficult to logistically maintain your fleet.
You have to make a choice, you can't have everything and it's not about money or numbers.
Compare Mi24 with SuperCobra
Which one do you think is easier to hit with a RPG-7?
Mi24 isn't a hunter, it's the hunt.

24 Mig-29s active in service , Mig-25s are retired
Azerbaijan plans to purchase T-50 , so there are definitely plans to purchase new fighters as well
Azerbaijan cant wait a decade for a new fighter and will probably buy Eurofighters in the coming years
if the news are true
You mean PAK FA or T-50 Golden Eagle ?..
Actually, t-50 sounds a good idea, as it uses F-16 engine, which Turkey might help in the future for spare parts. Also, it would be a good solution until the TFX project. Also, it would be cheaper than other jets. To be honest, I dont think Azerbaijan will purchase any eurofighter. due, Western countries are un reliable. But we have good relations with Korea. just a month ago, Our oil company SOCAR invested around 600$ million dollar in S.Korea to purchase assets. Also, next year, S.Korea will manufacture two huge factories in Azerbaijan.Golden Eagle

He actually did a good job. He also reduced the picture quality to make the photo shopping less obvious.
It is easy to update it to fighter version. The main thing is it has powerful engine which can carry weapons, in worse case it can be used. Otherwise, Azerbaijan wouldnt pay that much money to purchase jets. Actually, I think the best way for Azerbaijan would be to purchase more ground to air SAM missiles(low, medium and high as it has now S-300) to counter its air space for now. Helicoters would be Game CHangers in Nagorno Garabagh war. Because, there would be a lot of ground Target to fire(tanks and so on on Armenian side) and not actually big space to fly around. Azerbaijan can easily shot any target in Armenia with howitzers and some rockets it has in the inventory. Also, Armenia doesnt really have strong Air force, Also, Azerbaijan can easily attack any Target with precious rockets it gets from satellite and drones.its the trainer version not a fighter
