yep , Azerbaijan ordered 70+ Mi-17s for Air Force , Internal Troops and Border Guards in 2010

currently Azerbaijan has 100+ Mi-17s that will be upgraded by a joint South African - Azerbaijan company

TURAZ 2015 in Konya ! CSAR operations were done also.

3 F-16, 3 F-4E 2020, 2 AS-532 Cougar helikopter, 2 UH-1H helikopter ve 1 Havadan İhbar Kontrol (HİK) ; Azerbaycan Hava Kuvvetleri’nden 3 MIG-29, 3 SU-25 ve 4 MI-17

a total of 4 Shaldag Mk V patrol boats have been laid down so far out of the total 6 ordered
judging by the background , they are preparing to lay down Saar 62 OPV ( 6 ordered)

Coast Guard was also offered Saar 72 ( 16 cells for Barak-8 and 8 Gabriel Anti-ship missiles )
if Coast Guard gets the Saar 72 , they will have the biggest and most powerful fleet on the Caspian

I afraid that in case of war with Russia, or in the future that government get change and become more friendly with Turkey and lose support from ISrael... Russia might get the source code of those weapons...

bro, Azerbaijan really interested in ALtay and ATAk,
but we cant purchase leo 2, because Germany banned any sale of arms to Azerbaijan... That was the reason, Azerbaijan still couldnt purchase Firtina..
We wanted UAV, but unles turkey make one and offer us, ISrael kicked in and offered UAV assebly line in Azerbaijan. but, especially smaller UAV. But for bigger ones, most probably, Azerbaijan might get some..
Azerbaijan will not purchase "firkateyn", as its big, and Russia doesnt let those ships to be transported.. but fast attack boats with atmaca, would be perfect.. as Turkmenistan purchased it recently..
About missiles, im even heard that SOM was tested in Azerbaijan last year. they are really interested about missile programs.. 107 and 122 mm missiles have assembly line in Azerbaijan already..
