Yes Hindus are victims in India. Trampled under the feet of Muslim rulers for centuries.. then under the British and the Portuguese (in Goa). Their temples plundered, their culture debased and degraded. Chased away from areas like Kashmir. Their tolerance has been taken for granted. This is not to say that there are no Hindu extremists, but by and large the Hindus have been trampled upon and their faith is ridiculed like no other. People like Barkha Dutt are hypocrites; they only see one side - whatever the Hindus say or do will be a source of criticism. You can't win with people like her. You can't blame the Hindus for trying to reclaim their heritage and their place in their country.

Congress is as much to blame. Anyway, India is secular under both. Congress tries to garner the Muslim vote especially since the mid 1980s from Shah Bano case onwards. BJP tries to create a ruckus about so called Hindu victimhood. My own IB? Where are you from?

I see BJP emerging with most seats but Congress managing to stitch a coalition together. Except MH and GJ, the NDA is pretty much screwed everywhere else. But I would hate to see the likes of NCP come back.
