Any replacement for Bangladesh A-5 jets?

A-5 jets are too old; BAF operates 18 A-5 jets

Nanchang Q-5, also known as the A-5 in its export versions, is a Chinese-built ground-attack aircraft.

MiG-29 would be the best replacement since they already have some.

They might be looking at JF-17 or J-10 to add another type.

the pakistani home-made fighter, thunder, appears likely to be the best choice to replace all outdated A-5,cos pakistani thounder fighter is thought to be cheap and as powerful as earlier version of F-16 series.

may be jf-17 or retired f 16s or f-15

Buying retired aircrafts Deficits the purpose of modernising the BAF fleet. JF-17 is quite cost effective, thus i think it will be a good choice, along with purchasing a few f 16s.

Just for Indian screw ups , we have the development , marketing and sales rights of this air craft. we can sale this a/c to anyone we want to which puts Pakistan in a position to market this air craft to Bangladesh.

We are constructing a new massive 571 acres air craft manufacturing facility in sindh which would be the largest in Pakistan plus PAC at kamra which eventually will reach a production mark of 25 ac / year.

we have the technology and capability to do market this air craft and we will do so at every possible opportunity .

Well probably Jf-17s are being thought of right now. The gov is more interested towards mig-29 but the air force is biased towards volumes and easy maintenance. Because of this confusion future deals are getting delayed though the money is flowing for navy on frigates and missiles.

buying jf-17 as a front line fighter and retired us birds to fill the numbers and to get familiar with western tech.

You desperately need to educate yourself - China has hundreds of RD-93D in storage and Russians are committed to keep supplying the engines as they are making money out of it.

WS-13 is undergoing flight tests already , as soon as its ready it would be replacing RD-93 and that would be a goodbye to Russians.

Radar is KLJ-07 a Chinese radar not Russian.
