They are not warriors. For missiles, you need the names of warriors.

Is it written in the constitution of pakistan, I don't think so, we can name our missiles even khota missile, or kuggu missile if we want, nothing bars us to do so.

Jangaman bhai,

Abdali, Ghauri, Babur, Ghaznavi did and they beat Hindu armies

That's true of course. Abdali and Babur beat a lot of Muslim armies too, but those of course were, friendly contests.

Regards

There is one thing that transcends constitution and it is common sense. Nothing is written in the constitution about naming your children either, so you will name children khoti, kutti, suwaaar? I guess not.

That's your problem. Not ours.

Pakistan's two modern missiles which are often tested are not named after Afghanis Babur and Shaheen missiles Babur was from Farghana Uzbekistan and Shaheen is bird

B'coz They Represented Muslim Political and Military Dominance In The Subcontinent.

The Heroes You Talk About Are No Doubt Credible Figures But They Were Localized Figures

So just because they were Muslims, despite committing heinous atrocities on our cities/people...they will remain our heroes....
Remember, that so called dominance was technically a Plunder/loot borne terror.... similar to what we have for Robbers and Dacoits

Hi,

Oh---that is a classic answer----hahahahhahahaha:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

. .
You can make an opinion about the conquerors about what they did after the conquest.
Nadir Shah Afshari,Amir Temur Lang, Ahmad Shah Durrani They came they looted they took the wealth and they went back and repeat they were Barbarian Looters no matter how much one wants to cover them in cloak of Muslim Brotherhood they were savages who plundered cities after cities of modern day Pakistan and India. Saljuks and Mughals on the other hand came here, conquered, made great empires became part of the land, defended the land against foreign invaders generation after generation loved by the people (Mongol Invasion was repelled by Seljuk Rulers of Delhi). Just to get an idea one have to just read the account of arrest of Bahadur Shah Zafar by the Brits and the Bloody Gate Incident how people loved Mughals. But History is always controvertial, Hero of one is enemy of other all the time.
Point is our Weapons should be named after our own Martyred Soldiers only in my Opinion. Not in history. our Brave Nishan e Haider and then other Martyrs of Kashmir war, 65 war, 71 war, 99 conflict, War against Terrorists.
Aziz, Tufail, Sher Khan, Lalakjan, Saif, Sarwar, Minhas, Akram, Shabbir, Hussain, Mehfuuz, Rafique, Hayaudin and so on. Sons of Motherland Gave their lives defending it. Our Real Heroes and Inspirations.
And what we are naming our war machines after? Fairy Tales :hitwall:
For example?

I think Shaheen (Eagle) is the only appropriate name given by our establishment to one of the missiles, the rest of the naming of missiles is BS, the names of missiles should always be abstract nouns like "Shaheen", "Uqaab", "Burj", "Barq", "Falak" etc.

Absolutely agree with you, instead of looking for some daddies in the medieval history to name our weapons, Pakistani establishment should look post 1947 soldiers of Pakistan who laid their lives to defend this very country Pakistan and have a contribution in providing the peaceful environment for development of these weapons.

Lots of post 47 indigenous warriors from Pakistan if thats the condition. Better then naming after central asian invaders.

Because we share many of the same ethnic groups with Afghanistan (most notably Pashtuns), our western regions have often been associated with that region, and these figures are respected as Muslim heroes where as Indians get triggered anytime their names are even mentioned.

And the culture of the Mughals is probably the closest to modern day Pakistan's out of any pre-Pakistan entity in history. Lahore was also one of their most major cities, and many people from what is now Pakistan worked in that empire, and many other Pakistanis are descended from people who held high positions in the empire.

Syed Ahmad Khan himself was descended from a long line of Mughal aristocrats and was born/raised in Delhi when it was still under Mughal rule.

Breaking news, majority of so called Pakistani pashtun ethnicity is indigenous to what is now Pakistan and have little to do with central asian invaders post Islam.

Us Pukhtoons see it differently.

Why would you be proud of turks and mughals? Majority of Pakistani Pashtuns are indigenous to Pakistan, they were first in line to be conquered and converted by various turk invasions from Central asia. Later on they will get employeed by Turks and in some cases rule for some years.

Sher Shah suri, commander of Turk dynasty that backtabbed them to rule Delhi for 15 years. Abdali another commander of persian turk Nadir Shah that got opportunity after Nadir Shah death. Correct me if Im wrong about history.

India has not named any of her missiles after Gandhi, Abdul Kalam, Nehru, Rabindra Nath Tagor either.. Rather, Agni, Prithvi, etc
Indian missiles are usually named from 5 elements and in a logical sense for their purpose. Agni meaning fire for Nuclear tipped ICBMs and long range missiles. Prithvi meaning Earth for surface to surface intermediate range missiles for tactical purpose. Akash meaning sky for Air to air missiles. Sagarika meaning Ocean for our SLBM.
