Edit: in 2015!!

Undersecretary of Defense Industry Dr. İsmail Demir made statements to the newspaper's Ankara Representative Hakan Çelik. Professor Dr. İsmail Demir stated that there might be unmanned warplanes in the next generation, and that the F-16s were technically possible to fly unmannedly and that the Air Force planned an unmanned flight for trial purposes.

-----+++--
So i strongly advice you consider unmanned jumpjets for LPD.

It was an interview on TV so we don't know any follow up projects.
Currently only the US flow QF-16 unnamed F-16 aircraft for training purposes.

İ dont insist but it isnt a big deal since Turkey had ANKA flown.

It is a big deal. First of all for unmanned F-16 we need to full access for F-16's flight computer which needs permission from the US. Also, F-16 is a jet so its flight characteristic too different than a propeller aircraft.
Yes it would be unmanned but still, it is a precious material which we can not be okay with any lose

wouldn't it make sense to attempt such a thing with our own products to begin with, I'm thinking of something like Hurkus/hurjet when the time comes.

His (ex minister) words had political purposes. We are in a desperate need of modern fighters yet you guys want for us to make an unmanned F-16.

I am not expecting any Hurkus or Hurjet based new UAV. But the know-how from Hurjet can lead to UAS beach to another level.
