AJK capital sees first march for occupied Kashmir's independence

I think we should read up on why there is a Kashmir dispute to find our answers raised in this thread. Enough said!

People of Kashmir have to ultimately choose a side.

How many seats these JKPNA guys have in AJK assembly? None.

Dawn is backstabbing Pakistani cause as usual.

Hardly a first march but please they shouldnot bring their hatred of Gilgit Baltistan out like that let them have their own thing why should they be tied with us if they dont want to

Pakistani state is caught sleeping as usual, this has been going for sometime, the young ones have been brainwashed into believing that independent state is our only goal. And mind you, these marches are happening at time when the vermin named subramanian swamy said something like people of AJK want freedom from Pakistan, they have asked us to help liberate them.

Guys the issue here is that both sides have to be demilitarized and then a plebiscite held to determine which side the Kahshmiri people want to be with. In that, there is no third option on the table.

subramanian swamy
For sale people are found in every part of Pakistan inko serious nahi Lena chahiye
یہاں تہزیب بکتی ہے یہاں فرمان بکتے ہیں

Ignore kar kay dekh lia ........ mulk 2 hisay ho gya tha, ignore kia, apnay he mulk may jang larni par gai. Unless State asserts its authority and take khawarij to task ...... it will only bring humiliation and defeat.

Not sure what the state can do about these people in AJK. Our commitment is that Kashmiris have a right to self-determination.

Kashmiris should also respect the rights of GB people who don't want themselves associated with Kashmiris.

Kashmiris sure have the right to self determination, but are they ready for it once they get their own independent state? They will be killing each other. How are they going to manage their state? All the neighbors would be very wary of them.

Anyone who brought GB to these marches is a paid indian agent. State should not ignore this.

Its less of an independence more of a hate GB for its own thing movement
Some AJK politicians are pushing it

The state of Pakistan is responsible for this, no one else.

The people of GB liberated themselves and handed over the keys of their state to Pakistan. We for God knows what reasons lumped it together with Kashmir.

Forget Kashmiris, even the average Pakistani on the street thinks GB is part of Kashmir dispute.

As for Kashmiris, what they do with their self-determination is up to them. I, for one, am sick of Pakistanis being accused of forceful overloads.

The youth there is going against their own forefathers and reading some very nefarious literature these days, distorted facts and history.

Is the thinking different in Mirpur as compared to lets say Muzaffarabad or Neelum Valley?

I hope people of GB are given their fair share opportunity to benefit from development projects. They have long wished to be brought into mainstream and treated equally, their patriotism cannot be shouldn't be questioned. Their people have served armed forces of Pakistan and laid down their lives in the line of their duty.

Its either with Pakistan or with China. Otherwise any other option, its harmful for both of us.

A minority group. Yes such groups exist but they have no support from the people or the numbers, which is why there's no insurgency.

Otherwise, it's not difficult to get a license and a gun in Pakistan.
