What a BS.
Russia losing internationals arms market?
Arms industry - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
2013 rankSupplierArms exports
1Russia8283
2United States6153
3China1837
Russia is biggest weapon exporter in the world.
If you dont want a FGFA,simpy say "**** off " to Russians,T50 is strategical goal for Russia to keep West away from their borders,after this mess in Ukraine they will pay even billions more to make PAK FA working.
And good luck when another 1965/71 crisis happened to India,I hope that tiny Oland will provide political support to India,but i highly doubt potential of France to project power in South Asia.
@Astra-2013
First,you must learn how to quote my post.
Second.I am not a ex Soviet,I am from Serbia,1000 Km away from ex Soviet border.
Russia is still one of four main geopolitical powers in the world along USA,EU and China.
You shouldnt make a "" about Soviet disintegration,Soviets stop West from totally destruction of Indian economy and military,even today India would be parriah state of the world if invasion happened.
Nope,Russian weapon inqenuity shows its fruits today.
Kornet,Pantsir,S400,new Armada platform,Topol M,T90,SU35,MIG 35,Pak FA,new submarines,new BTR....
hahahah and btw,India is biggest weapons importer in the world and main of it imports are from Russia,so you just buying it "old Soviet tecnology"
Russia is ranked 2nd most powerful military by all means,so you just make a biggest pile of BS in one post.Congrats.
And it is obviously too that India will start to boost it own defense industry before it becomes eternal biggest weapon importer in the world.It is better for India to saving money for two years but to start build with that money their own defense industry.It is normal
But all that I have to say if you buy Russian weapons you dont buy just a weapons but buying political support too.
India 1965/71,Vietnam,Syria.....all that countries wouldnt survive if might Soviet/Russian political power not standing behind them.Ende.
Russian Ministry of Defence DONT WANT to export that weapons.
Not agree with you.
I highly respect a great Chinese shift in economics and military,but China cant build a top notch military with 180 billion per year without their own tech,but Russia have its own tech and 100 billion of Russian military budget is enough to modernize its machinery.Russia have basis of its military power while China and India must build its basis.
Do you realize that only three countries in the world history was superpowers?GB,USSR and USA.
Term "Superpower" isnt for anyone.
That's the funny part, Russians are even supporting China on surpassing Russia (selling techs, engines, designs...).
@Astra-2013
Mate you need education,when I was age of 6,i know almost every country in the world and their position on the globe.
You dont know the difference between a Serbia(former Yugoslavia) and Russia(former USSR),it is new example of systemtic fail of education system of India.
@sancho
Mate,I am not a military expert like you,but i have a II degree of political sciences,section "Geopolitics in 21 century" University of Umea,Sweden.
I research geopolitics for almost my entire life.
United States of America is sole superpower.
There is no "Potential superpowers" in geopolitical terms,only "Great Powers who have ability to emerge as superpower"
And it is China,India,EU and Russia.Maybe Brazil but not in near future.
This is story for one summer,blah blah media.
I speak Russian fluently,and I know that some anti Putin oposition blamed him for that story what you are talking right know,and then almost 10 military experts appeared on TV and explain that it is simply false.
It is just spin of Western military experts,just like in the Cold War.Ende.
SCRAP THE FGFA with russians save $20 billion plus
BUY USA F35 lightening in future post 2020
You was saying that if today somthing like 1971 happened to India then Russia will came to save India.
-> first This is not 1971 at that time west was against us but now West is supporting India.We dont need russia now. And now Indian economy is 1.9trillion and in next five year it will be more than Russian economy. That means more defence budget growth. so we can hope to build or buy military equipment form west instead or your cheap and old technology equipment.
->our current enemies are pakistan and china, not US so we dont need Russia's help. instead of thinking about invasion of India You should fear about Invasion of your country by NATO. I think in by next decade you have to beg before china to save your country from NATO.
->Russia is a declining power. so come out of your dreams.
its game of intreast that we pakistanis don't know shit abut sirBut , I don't know how can India take planes from France that just back stabbed Russia by refusing them the helicopter carrier ship ....
What kind of eternal friendship is that , when you need Russia you beg its interference but when Russia needs help you say
We love USA and its only super power....
PUTIN is reading my comments , and Putin , its time for you to see and decided
"Doodh ka Doodh , Pani Ka Pani"
Buying Saab would actually be a great idea, they have huge ammount of know how that would be useful for India. We just must look beyond the Gripen and for future fighters that could be developed with Saab.
I m also supporting F35 if US also sale air launched PAC3 missile with it, after seeing this videoThis is one of the best post on the subject. This would be a smart decision for India actually. Uncle Sarkozy is milking you guys with Rafale deal, phew, $ 110 Mil per plane!!
