I suggest you browse the threads on the same topic and see for yourself , what you are denying here . Maximum participation is what it is , 25% talking about American slaves , soft loans and aid , the next set saying that these are vintage 70 era helicopters , Hinds are useless - Russian junk being retired from IA , the next set reminding us of the massive Indian deals and how we cant compete with that , trade e.t.c and last but not least , ones speaking their mind about backstabbing , diplomatic pressure , India's importance to Russia , concerns and how the deal wont go through . Free free to confirm the pattern I have been seeing for days .

Ofcourse after troll baiting Indians nonstop with these cheesy comments , what else did you expect ?

Islamabad: Pakistan today said it looked forward to procuring more defence hardware from Russia after Moscow agreed to provide MI-35 helicopters to Islamabad.

The Foreign Office said in a statement issued here that Foreign Affairs Advisor Sartaj Aziz met Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow to discuss bilateral ties and regional situation.

"Aziz also expressed the hope that Pakistan's further request for defence equipment would also be considered soon as part of our continued defence collaboration," it said.

The Russian Foreign Minister welcomed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's recent meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expressed the hope that constructive dialogue and improved relations between the two countries would be beneficial for the security and stability of the region.

Lavrov said that?Russia is keen to expand its relations with Pakistan since close cooperation between Pakistan and Russia would not only benefit the two countries but would also help in building stability and prosperity in the region.

Aziz in his response said there was also a consensus in Pakistan for improving relations with Russia.

"The Prime Minister has a new vision for Pakistan. It is based on creating economic partnerships with nations. Pakistan, therefore, wanted to develop a multidimensional relationship with Russia in the fields of trade, energy, infrastructure development, defence and culture," he said.

Both the leaders agreed that the positive role of recent and forthcoming high level exchanges between the two countries would help in moving forward this objective.

During the meeting, situation in Afghanistan, cooperation in the efforts against extremism and terrorism, drugs control, and situation in the Middle East, including Syria and Iraq, were also discussed.

In the course of discussion, it was agreed that the forthcoming Summit meeting of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in Dushanbe in September would provide a useful opportunity for discussing the emerging situation in post-2014 Afghanistan.

Lavrov conveyed that Russia fully supported Pakistan's entry into SCO as a full member.

The two agreed that there was considerable scope for cooperation in the field of energy since Pakistan has a large scale programme to overcome its energy crisis and many Russian companies are keen to participate.

now you causing more worries for Indian members, they were already sleepless worried how Pakistan is going to pay for it, now I think they will start collecting Chanda

I always maintain that India should not oppose such deals unless it starts getting serious for example warships, submarines on lease, fighter jets etc.

We actually encourage more such deals. Pakistan should buy all the second hand equipment of Russian army. No one else can give better prices to Russia. Win-win for both.

of course , I see Turkey becoming our significant defence partner in future and quality and durability joke wont cut it so our Indian friends will have to think of some other jibe at us to relieve their pain & insecurities.

but look at this. how insecure Indians are and how hollow this relationship their relationship with Russia is is that they are going bonkers over a handful of 70 era gunships.. despite having partnership with Russian 5th gen aircraft and SU30 etc.
Nobody is going bonnkers in India, their are few who might be overreacting. Minus one statement from MEA nothing much from GOI. If you look at news here not even a single discussion. You have to analyze better when you say we are going bonkers. Cannot take few PDF posters view as Indias view.

Indians are born that way culturally, they always feel insecure about everything and never satisfied. That's what make them crazy, Russia know it and ignore them in order to use these helicopters against Indian-funded terrorists/TTP.
Are you the same Raptor guy who was a media editor at a certain forum :undecided:

exactly. .. I haven't seen any discussion in Indian media ... except in PDF where many members and a farmer mod going crazy on this deal.... Russians want stable Afghan .... so that is why they offered mi 35.... but some guys talking like Russia dumping India to get deals from Pakistan .... but they are failed to see ... stable Afghan will give lot more resources than stopping this deal.....

Replace chaddis with Indians.
you wipe out that drooling ...

is not there rule of respection memebr and not insulting ..

Ironically , all this time . I was under the impression that the respect you talk about is earned , not asked for . Since the member in question seems to be here only to rant/troll/flame , this doesn't apply to him . Forget about our defense budget or economy , tell me the bottom line here , we are purchasing these helicopters right? Do Russians seem to worry about 9BN budget of Pakistan? Are they saying anything or implying anything about the Indian deals being bigger than that? They came to us , offered the Mi-35 and since we found that suitable for our requirements , we are proceeding with the deal and that is the story in the end , beat around the bush or keep running in circles , it seriously wont change anything , its only the Indians worrying about finances . We aren't looking to compete , its the Kremlin selling to both sides and earning money and since they transfer hardware and technology to you which aren't available for sale from anywhere else , do not act like the dependence is one-sided and its only the Reds benefiting from deals with India .

these peanuts seem to be causing a lot of anal pain to your kind for sure.

Honestly , these are just two squadrons of Hinds being transferred by the Russians and look at the bizarre and absurd logic and ridiculous notions . What happens if in future , they agree to sell something far more lethal than these Mi-35? Cardiac arrest?

No we are looking after our own interests, in Afghanistan.

Why should we need to destroy any equipment of yours? TTP has been doing a fine job of it anyways. Anyways I consider this deal a landmark since this is the first deal specifically targeted at TTP. Good news for India.
