宁波（浙江），2014年9月16日 东海伏季休渔结束 渔船扬帆入海 9月16日，浙江宁波奉化市桐照渔村的一位妈妈抱着孩子站在海边目送渔船出海。当日中午12点，为期三个半月的东海伏季休渔期正式结束，浙江舟山、宁波、台州等地的渔船纷纷扬帆入海。海面上千帆竞渡，蔚为壮观。

If DDG cost 1 billion $, a 1,000x DDGs Fleet cost at least 1 trillion U.S Dollar. Considering crew training & missile supports, that need 1.5 trillion U.S Dollar.

I checked 2014.03 China has 3.95 trillion U.S Dollar foreign currency reserve, China seized World 1/3 foreign currency reserve ! Theoretically, it's work but i think China need 1,000x Ocean fishing ships better than 1,000x DDGs. If Chinese as careless as American that DDGs will easily make us bankrupt, but 1,000x Ocean fishing ships not, China only need enough numbers of DDGs is OKay.

well, no need for that, we need cash everywhere, economy and social welfare is more important, military we need more time anyways.

A naval tradition, and a core of officers and NCOs need to be able to pass their experience to later generations. I say give it 10 years for a well equipped navy that can rank second only to US, but we need at least 20 years to establish a Navy that can be as effective as the US.

Overall, militarily we still have some hurdles, as long as we have a stronger IT industry, and get pass the Engines barrier, our forces will have a giant leap forward. Until that time, sit back relax and drink some beer.

We need at least 3 more aircraft carriers other than the current training vessel, and all the aircrafts, submarines and supporting ships to create 3 AC battle groups, each for one of our three fleets(north, east and south), we need strong navy fleets to protect our interest in the pacific oceans.
