Afghanistan's enemy is Pakistan's enemy, says army chief

We never were. Supporting and sympathy towards the same Pashtuns who not long ago had come into government in KPK (ANP) does not equal to aggression. We could have easily attacked Pakistan during your wars with India but we didn't.

You did invade Pak twice .. One on the 50s (using irregulars) and than in 65-66? You invaded bajaur agency..

Babur was not an Afghan to begin with.
He was of Mongol origin .. Exiled from Bukhara .. He captured Kandahar ? and so on..

I have been reading the term 'strategic depth' quite a bit. What does it actually mean?

It seems to me one of those phrases that anyone and everyone uses when they want to say something and not having to explain it. For example: Why is Pakistan doing something? oh Strategic depth. Why is Afghanistan sayi ng this or that? Oh strategic depth!

I think that is enough for him to handle. He wasnt Expecting this level of Reaction. He is just a Troll who comes from some Pashtun Forum website thinking he can make us Speechless.

It's funny because the only one mentioning strategic depth is the flustered Afghan. It's an old policy which is rapidly being replaced, anyway. This is one of the few times there is a friendly government which isn't focused on liberating the Pashtuns or taking a big chunk out of Pakistan. You'll notice co-operation has been enhanced between the two governments.

If you are talking about Mughal Emprier Babur then he was Azeri Turk and his Routes were Oghuz Turkic rather then Kipchak Turkic who are mostly Mongoloid Features among Turks.

Concept of Strategic Depth was to have Pro-Pakistan Afghanistan so Pakistan can focus solely on India.

Most people have no idea about the so called "strategic depth" ... Most retards believe it means that in case of indian victory Pak forces would go and regroup on Afghanistan ?

The reality :

Strategic depth meant a friendly govt that is not hostile to Pak.. That doesn't let other countries n itself use proxies to destabilise Pakistan (like in the past).

He was half mongol as well.

I think the main source of discontent is the way we tried to gain strategic depth in the country. It's true though, Indians now see it as a buzzword to fling across in every argument.

Yes he was since he was Direct Descendant of Timarlane. Thanks for Pointing out my mistake.
His mother was mongol, Mughal means mongol in Persian. He worked with the Safavid regime too to capture Bukhara.

You follow that Forum?

I don't know the type of Turks he mentioned, but yes Babur was descent of Timur. But my point was that Babur was as much foreigner to Afghanistan as it was to Indian subcontinent.
Babur followed Persian Culture so he wasnt as much foreigner to Afghans but to Soth Asia he was Indeed Foreigner.
