As long as you do that, check the air intakes on that line drawing?
That's what I meant, the general overlay used to shift but is now
fixed and that rear end only shows it to be a sub-system ( TVC )
that cannot be written in stone until it is developed. Besides, in
the images I was referring to from post #106, the engines are
replaced with big metal rings to join the model to the apparatus
serving as its stand and I'll bet that wasn't intended as realistic.

If you get to an image of the TVC end to be used attached to its engine,
I'll be darn interested but for now neither exists.

Still the AMCA has a high body blended wing with trailing stabs and
dual canted tails with moving parts ( for horizontal actuation see below )
a very specific flattened F-35 shape, as has the FC-31 since they
correct the extreme fat cross section & a very specific "race car" like
sloped front end.

Don't focus on derails from presentation videos too much until
real objects appear. This image from around the same time as
yours for example is ...

very suspicious. It may reflect a design choice but not the real thing.
As it is depicted, moment arm and proximity to rudder course will
wreck havoc. The same outlay works on a Raptor because it's bigger.
The specifics will change.

First of all what we see now as design is about to get finalized . And practical prototype will be exactly what we see now . May be some changes will be made with second prototype and so on .

On the new detailed changes made in airframe to increase the stealth characteristics . Main problem we face in stealth is it's engine heat emissions . India and Russia signed a deal regarding the development of universal 3D vector for AMCA . And very good design in this regards.

AMCA will be a good aircraft in its class . When it enters full service say by 2025 this platform could have evolved with time and technologies .

Very promising start to be independent in the future.

2030 is the ideal time for the AMCA, that time the MiG-29UPG, Mirage 2000-5 MK.2 and DARIN III will all be coming to the end of their operational lives.

Making a 5th gen jet when China will be using the EDI of the movie STEALTH is not exactly a good move.

The Dorniers are getting ancient.

We better renew our license agreements with RUAG for the Dornier 228 Next Generation.

Lol, China isn't the threat you think it is, the technological gap between India and China in this area is negligable.

But China does have a clear edge in the production side but I expect India will close this soon enough.

We better renew our license agreements with RUAG for the Dornier 228 Next Generation.

RUAG have tied up with TATA to produce the Do-228NG in India, the Do-228s HAL produce are still decent enough.

It can be fitted with whatever engine India chooses. However, I dont know of possible problems that may arise when modifying, fusing two different OEM products together.
