What's new

Abdul Qadir Gilani wins NA-151: unofficial results

The people in villages owned by the people in the PPP have no choice but to vote for them. Our maid also gets an apartment renewed every year with TV for a vote

Thats what i meant when i said self-centered , personal benefit seeker and feudal attache. Its an old game by these political parties ,first to create poverty and then to exploit it on later stages for their own benefits . They know if everyone will have a prosperous life then whom will they exploit in return of few thousands of rupees or even few cattle and shops . But now people have to come out of this web and strive to achieve something gud for their country, they have to sacrifice once , they can do it now and have a better life ahead or continue living a life of feudal servants until they finally realize what they have done...

They need to consider that one time assistance from a political party for her benefit may give them something to work with for a few days or months but a prosper country can give them way more than that not only throughout their life but for their generations to come that too without any cost of humiliation or servancy ,

But to consider all these prospects they need to be educated which sadly these culprits never allow to as a result rural areas are still having ruffling literacy figures while the country's overall literacy rate is less than most of the even poorest countries

We have not tested PTI so we should give them a chance atleast to participate in election , if they don't win then as i already told you with PPP coming their is a chance of martial law, Although i have heard that establishment is supporting PTI because this time round they don't want to show up on the scene rather they want to work at the back end. Its just few months left we have to give them a chance atleast , If we can elect ,re-elect and in the meanwhile can give tens of chances to PMLn and PPP then why not a single chance to PTI

And by the way the names you mentioned all of them have been the puppets of US, so whats the difference military or civil all work what US says . Its not like they were the men of words and men of honor who stood and stared in the eyes of US. They have committed blunders too
do you think, imran is a prophet, who pakarmy should wait to win?
sorry he has lost his support , because of his arrogance!
pakarmy will do , whatever it takes to defend pakistan, all this stupids leaders are leaders as long pakistan is a country, if there is not a pakistan , there will be no leader.

I think rather than acting rational you want me to involve in some kind of baseless and rhetoric arguments thats why you are coming up with clueless stuff and things that have nothing to do with the argument. You have no basis to argue but you want to argue just for the sake of it... for dont know how much time you are revolving your posts around same point over and over again without either agreeing or providing rational basis to disagree

Done with you

isnt is this clueless , imran winning, sweeping all alone himself!
you didnt come up , anything like economic metters , durring army,s rulling times in pakistan, instead i already preanted all?
well, keep up hopes ! wait for the elections, if he cant win, thn dont cry marshallaw, because its not a dam tea, at a tea resturant?
pakistan ka allha hi hafiz!

Its clear that IK cannot beat any one in elections, until some adjustment is reached.

With money from every reallocation for only Multan development, and Govt. machinery all on move for Gillani, a paltry 4000 win against an independent candidate... if it is not signs of change what is it then?

This is why i do not approve democracy in any form.
One vote difference shall not allow any one to annihilate its opposition with all legal support.
Democracy is an evil system, it only approves a popular person and not the best one.

ok first , the govt part always win in supplementary elections, both PML Nand PTI knows it so they didnt contested...
second about next time predictions it would be mostly like this..
1. ppp might win around 60 seats..(it won 92 this time and 75 in mushi)
2. MQM and ANP 20 each
3. PMLN 60-70
4. PTI 60

if however PML N and PTI forum a alliance PPPP will win no more than 20 seats...

the reason is that we youth might support PTI but we are not good voters, and the actual voters will either support PML N or pppp

PPPP has a fixed vote bank that never changes, just like dictators have a fixed support everywhere because of the good deeds they have done on a few people

I will not deny the progress in Musharraf time. From motorways to streets.
1122 is the biggest service .
Millions of jobs in mobile and other sectors.
Even Good work in 10 years are countless .

Musharraf was also the reason Zadari and NS got back into the country in the name of reconciliation. It far out any good that Musharraf did in his tenure, bringing back the same corrupt tola just to prolong his own tenure.

He didn't brought them, but america did , infact bringing back them, hasn't prolonged his own tenure, it finished his rule in fact?
Don't you remember, aitazaz famous songs, don't. You remember , Imran,s protest at lahore mallroad, don't you remember this same croupt Cj & his son,s crouption at that time, he kick them out , but that's where , he never knew americans , never wanted a strong militry ruler, they broought the deal , to curb the civilian unrest, but it was whole plan to get rid of him, & install a zardari instead BB?
By the we should make responsible all of them , who ever took any part in the , elections 2008?
Its the awam, don't blame musharf, he went running that election, but he was out casted?
I think , biggest mistake was to trust americians, enough to lose the , best productive era of pakistan?
But for now , there is no chance of anyone else , accept ZARDARI ,s PPP , its has proven in na 151 in multan!

Why ppl are talking about brain washing??? This Gillani tells his mureeds that if they dont vote for him their Cows will not give milk

It's not a big deal for Gilani's son to win an ancestral seat while the central govt. is still of PPP. However, the low margin of victory should be worrisome to PPP.
And let's not call people 'brain washed' etc. That is undemocratic. True, higher educational level will lead to better candidate but people just don't vote because some 'peer' tell his 'mureeds'; Gilani clan is not the only peer-clan in south Punjab. Respect people's choice. Now and always.

PS. BTW, the 64,000 votes for Gilani's son is probably 5 times the total number of all Pakistani bloggers in all internet sites across the world.

He didn't brought them, but america did , infact bringing back them, hasn't prolonged his own tenure, it finished his rule in fact?

So you agree that he bowed down to american pressure. Then how exactly is he any different from the rest of the morons we have.
You can blame America all you want after all we Pakistanis are very good in putting blames on others but fact is it was Musharaf who under the so called reconciliation process, brought these thugs back after all cases against them were dropped.

You guys are saying as if King Musharraf was sitting on a thrown and stepped aside and asked Zardari to take the place. HOW LAUGHABLE!
PPP had no chance to win the 2002 elections but was still the largest party in that election. In 2008 PPP had a much better chance, because now PPP was to be allowed its due share. You can go all the way back to the 1970 elections and will see that PPP has been either the highest/2nd highest vote getter and/or the highest/2nd highest seat getter.
All Musharraf did was to allow an exception by implementing the NRO to migrate to a democratic setup. Of the 8000+ NRO beneficiaries less than a hundred are politicians! Zardari is only one of them. NRO only allowed a few PPP people to contest in elections without being in prison. And don't forget some of the stalwarts from the PMNL (I think Humayyun Saifullah Khan?) has admitted that NS instituted a lot of fake cases against PPP.

Zardari faced prison for 11 years on charges which are, too this day, unproven. NRO or not PPP was destined to win the 2008 elections, especially after the military had decided to sideline PMLN.

So please educate yourself. Perhaps you are not old enough like me--who has seen from 1970 through the 2008 elections--to understand Pakistani politics. But then Google is not far away.
