what is wrong with that...doesnt matter anyway people dont refer jinnah as qaid e azam because of religion its just a title.
As for his opinions this molvi has very moderated views much better than the two faced molvis who on tv preach peace and love and in private gathering are calling every other person a kafir.

Quaid e Azam means a great leader it is by no means used for messengers or Prophets who have a totally different status.
what does this title have to do with religion?

Tomorrow, Quaid will not be considered a founder of Pakistan as it would be disrespectful to Allah (SWT) as Allah (SWT) created Pakistan. This is just stupid.

This title was given to M.A Jinnah (R.A) by the muslims who wanted
Pakistan. Those that opposed Pakistan were the ones that created controversies.

Muhammad Ali Jinnah (R.A) is Quaid e Azam for Pakistan and always will be.

thanks.

Quaid is actually an Arab title for a war chief, different from Sheikh, who is the elder/leader of a tribe.

Apologies I don't understand the language of the speaker...However my view on Hagia Sophia decision is simple...

1. Turkey ever since Erdogan has come to power, is trying hard to re-establish itself as leader of Muslim world, in lines of what Ottoman empire used to be.
2. To get Muslim world's attention and to project self as Guardian of Muslim faith against Non-Muslim, Erdogan need a reason.
3. He tried forming an alliances parallel to Saudis, but did not get much success given West's backing of Saudis, and Turkey's Conflict with Shias (In Syria and thus opposed by Iran too). Among 5 UN permanent members, He do not have very cordial relations with China and Russia too (conflicted with Russia in the past). So to sum up, forming an alliance of Muslim state and designate Turkey as the Leader is not that easy....So he needed a trigger ever more than before, to gain sympathy of Muslims. Also the current covid situation has left Turkey's once vibrant economy in tatters. Erdogan is loosing trust of his people and need a deflection.....and thus he did what Muslim rulers have been doing for centuries...Invoke Islam
4. By turning Hagia Sophia into a Mosque, he gained sympathy from Muslims around the globe, initiated a spark of conflict with Christian world...and if now, Christian world reacts....it will be easy for him to en cash and form a sort of Muslim alliance by instigating good old notion of "Islam is in Danger"

I think the difference is in terms.

Azam =greatest

He probably means it in the sense of the literal meaning -the Greatest Leader.

What you are saying about it meaning Great Leader - that would be Quaid e Azeem I think.

Azeem=great

Personally, I look at it in this context, and just assume it to mean he was the foremost leader in the creation of Pakistan

The guy is an engineer, and in response to people saying that the figures of Jesus and Mary will be covered during prayer, he is saying that how will they do that for mosaic 185 ft up on the roofs...

I don't think the 'Christian world' is christian enough to give a reaction.

As to why it was done, maybe for political appeasement, or maybe it was a genuine case and there was symbolism in it. Either way, we're discussing a topic that is very irrelevant to Pakistan, and I don't get why.
