It is incumbent upon us to investigate this matter fully. Has-anyone actually seen this video of the-mullah molesting the youth? When i opened the link all that I saw-was the bayaan of the mullah. I think the matter should be investigated fully. If the mullah is found guilty he shluld be punished according to the- law.
It however beggars belief that someone will make a video where a boy is being molested. Unfortunately someone saying he has been molested does not constitute evidence in islam or any court.
So try and then punish if found guilty.

There is a video circulating of a young man/teenager sat on the thigh and groin area of the elderly homosexual pedophile man who is sat comfortably leaning his back on a cushion . It seems sodomoy is taking place. The elderly man further encourages the teenager to engage in sexual contact by masterbating him.

The elder man should be stripped of his title as Mufti, Qari, Alim, Imam, and arrested for engaging in buggery.

Former JUI leader Aziz ur Rehman, son arrested from Mianwali

LAHORE: Police have arrested Mufti Aziz ur Rehman, a former JUI leader, with his son from Mianwali.

As per a report on Geo News, a video of Rehman had gone viral in which he could be seen sexually abusing a student.

Police had registered a case against the former JUI leader and his sons, after the student alleged he was being blackmailed and threatened by Rehman's sons.

"If justice is not done, I will commit suicide," the survivor had said.

The superintendent of the madrassa, where Rehman worked, had said that the cleric had been fired after the video went viral.

Superintendent Asadullah Farooq had said Rehman and his sons had been asked to leave the madrassa and the institution was not responsible for any of their acts.

Meanwhile, JUI Lahore's secretary-general had also issued a notice stating that after the video, the party had suspended the membership of Mufti Rehman and that it would remain revoked till the investigation concludes.

The incident sparked outrage on social media, with many calling for the former JUI leader to be arrested.

Rehman, meanwhile, had said the video was two-and-a-half years old, and that the student was being "used against" him.

"I declare on oath that I did not do such an act in my consciousness. I was given something intoxicating and I was not conscious," he had claimed in a video message.

THE deafening silence of political authorities, including leaders from the religious right, on the Mufti Azizur Rehman case, demonstrates yet again the low priority that is accorded in this country to justice and human rights and dignity.

The fact that a septuagenarian cleric, suspected of sexually molesting a madressah student, is on the run with his whole family and that not a single word of condemnation has been uttered by Maulana Fazlur Rehman who heads the political party to which the alleged abuser reportedly belongs, is simply appalling. What is also beyond comprehension is that the administration at the madressah where the mufti taught thought it best to dismiss him, telling him to pick up his belongings and leave, instead of handing him over to the law. Did his political affiliation play a part in this?

There are all too many examples of madressah students who have been sexually assaulted or beaten within an inch of their lives. The state seems to have turned a blind eye to these cases and many others like them. For instance, the perpetrators of the Kasur child pornography ring still remain at large, and the real criminals behind the Balochistan University scandal remain unscathed by the law.

Meanwhile, the cries for help are getting louder. According to the latest report by NGO Sahil, at least eight children were abused every day last year, an increase of 4pc from the previous year — but these have just been the reported cases, with social and cultural taboos, or the fear of reprisal, preventing victims or their families from coming forward and reporting a range of abuse — from rape, pornography to sodomy, etc. Besides there is little public awareness of child protection laws and the families of the young victims are reluctant to turn to the police that itself is a product of the same cultural milieu, and not trained to treat such cases with the seriousness and professionalism they merit. The state must wake up.

I thin whoever sends their kids to the mosque should be very careful or use Quran online or when any qari comes to your house to teach kids, keep them in a common space where every minute or two some family member pass by. People on this forum should never make the mistake of assuming that this sort of abuse is limited to being committed by molvis. There are also women, men, secular, religious all sorts of people doing this in India, Afghanistan and Pakistan.

One example that is not reported enough are young boys who are sent to work in rich homes by poor village people. Those rich, powerful women get away cuz a) they are women in Pakistani society b)they are rich and powerful.

We should spread awareness. So wherever people find someone like this they gather evidence and present the criminal to be prosecuted and hung. Let's eliminate this scourge.

Aziz will likely be presented before the court today, police said, adding that he confessed that the viral video featured him and it was stealthily filmed by his student, Sabir Shah.

The cleric also confessed that he had lured the student with passing marks in the exam and had later sexually abused him. He also said that once the video went viral, he got scared of the repercussions.

Aziz also told the police that his sons had threatened Sabir and told him not to speak to anyone about it. However, despite the threats, Sabir went ahead and posted the video online, the police said.

The cleric also said that he issued a video statement because he did not want to leave the madrassah, adding that once the video went viral, the administration of the madrassah urged him to leave his job.
