Even a country like Germany, France or UK with a fraction of population which India has ... have a larger gdp then India...and in India most of the growth comes from only some tiny pocket of states which does not represent whole India but overall the condition is worse then sub saharan african country. But those small pocket of states has larger population then Germany, France or UK so it is not unusual.

Criticism from a Bangladeshi for our GDP (or per capita income) seems weird. The fact that you guys actually have an economy below sub-saharan Africa might be food for thought for you. Not really .... Bangladesh measure GDP based on 1995 base year which does not count a big segment of the economy. This is well known and it is done intentionally to remain in LDC and gets the benefit of LDC...

which sub saharan country country has 24 billion usd of export or 13 billion usd earning from remittance or equivalent literacy rate that of Bangladesh and 99% enrollment rate in both primary and secondary school, huge participation of the womans in the economy???

Firstly, GDP is not something that can be "hidden", it is calculated by money inflows and outflows from a nation. People who make such dumb*ss arguments should perhaps not be talking of economy to begin with. Your GDP is measured with base 2005 year (or current $ value), just like any other country in the world. You can hide how you got the money, for example maybe some guy made money smuggling cows in India, but on paper he covers it officially by saying he got it working overtime or doing a side-business. You seriously need to read up on how the economy works, and how GDP is calculated rather than coming to a forum and spewing BS and hoping everyone else is as uneducated as you and will not catch your complete misrepresentation of facts.

We've been through this before, and it ended with you posting a source that proved my point, remember? It said about 40-45% of our middle class earns between 2$ (or Rs. 100) and 20$ (Rs. 1000) a day per person in their family, ample enough to feed and live an adequately good lifestyle. 264 million (50-55% of our middle class earns above 20$ meaning they can live well, and afford a few luxuries as well.

Because the land beyond that border is not the personal property of Bangaldesh. That is Indian land and we have made rules that any foreign citizen who wish to visit India must fullfill certain legal formalities. If you dont like it than stay within your borders.
