Gr8 Gr8 efforts however there is need to clarify only nos r not enough the things r necessary is area of country to. More over war is decided by courage and mind. Hence in vietnam was even mig 21 were better plane than US . Thachweave tactic destroy rus plane. If BVR not works than such plane is better.

Moreover AWACS might change the situation as even oldest plane with communication of awacs fire missiles BVR. For that it is hard to predict nosonly by no of planes. However its first time survey made by this way. Perhaps.

I estimated that MiG-29 and JF-17 have same air to air capabilities. Whats wrong here?
A/G MiG-29 is very very limited it can only drop unguided bombs. Obviously JF-17 has an advantage here.

IAF has around 187 MKI's by now and has 49(not 45 Mirages) so IAF's A2A combat power is around 486 points.

Similarly PAF has 241 A2A combat points as PAF F-16A's are now equal to F-16C's and 500 forgot the 4 IL-78 refuellers of PAF.

SO
IAF has more than twice the air to air combat power of PAF.
