20 security personnel feared killed in Chhattisgarh Naxal attack

Ok so what is stopping us(or Chattisgarh) to form a special force like Greyhounds like A.P. did and kill or kick all of them from the state.

If you are asking me. . .

frankly. . . i have no idea. . .

some political gains are there for the parties may be. . :undecided:

Bloddy cowards!!There were 200 of these Macho*ists who attacked a convoy of a mere 44 CRPF personnel and killed 15 of our brave jawans!!
RIP. . .
The EC is right in inferring that this is the the wake of the LS elections.

Elections are coming. It is the 'revolutionary' way of showing the state that they mean business. Usually this involves asking for ransom or protection money - to allow the writ of the state to run in these remote corners during elections. Remove AFSPA from Kashmir and put in these places instead - will calm them real quick.

There will be Peace. Peace of the graveyard if need be. :coffee:

These behenchod maoists just want the jungles for themselves and nothing else so that they could abuse their women by setting up their self styled panchayati type governing bodies and indulge in activities such as gang raping women for infidelity and so on.All we need is to set free the Army like hungry lions onto them so that no future generations of these Tribals would even dare to take up arms against a democracy. AFSPA is not needed just a month long killing ops by the Army irrespective of State border or jurisdiction.Currently the SC have tied up the hands of the GoI and the Armed forces.

RIP..its getting ugly day by day..remove all fundamental rights from that area and give CRPF a free hand.don't arrest any naxalite..just shot a bullet in head or carpet bomb would be the good solution.

Indian Maoists kill 16 in attack on police
By Jatindra Dash BHUBANESWAR, India (Reuters) - Maoist rebels ambushed police and killed 16 involved in a mine clearing operation in a remote part of eastern India region on Tuesday, police said, as the insurgents demonstrated their strength ahead of a general election next month. The victims were clearing mines laid by rebels on a road through a densely forested area in resource-rich Chhattisgarh state when the rebels attacked from all sides, according to a senior home ministry official. The head of anti-Maoist operations in the state police force told Reuters one civilian was among the dead. "Total death 16 ... including one civilian," R.K. Vij said in a text message sent from a helicopter after the attack. However, there were conflicting accounts of the death toll, with other officers telling local media at least 20 died. Television images from the site showed a heavy truck smouldering with its tires burning. The rebels have operated for decades across a wide swath of central and eastern India, and grew in strength during recent times in areas where poor, tribal villagers came into conflict with mining companies seeking resources for industrialisation. The Maoists seek the violent overthrow of the Indian state but have so far not managed to spread significantly into urban areas. Attacks picked up slightly for the first time last year peaking in 2010. "They attack us to demoralise us, they attack us to loot our weapons," said the ministry official, who asked not to be named. The ambush was just a few miles from where rebels killed 27 people, including many senior political leaders, before state elections last year. The attacks seek to disrupt the electoral process, the official said. "This time they know if we succeed in elections it will dent their reputation," he said. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has previously described the Maoist insurgency as India's biggest internal security challenge. Rest in Peace. Chattisgarh really needs to get it's house in order. Most of the attacks are happening there only.

Rest in peace. This is near the place where 70 police men lost their lives in an ambush four years before.
