Guess what, the guy opens a thread about the potential of Pakistan, and who does he attract,
No prizes for guessing ... but hey, did some one say, honey always draws flies or something.

Not sure about Honey but s**t definitely draws flies

It is this part: that is typical of premature congratulations. Gwader is point 14.

It might be premature congratulations to you, but not to others. Otherwise, I would have never said "there is still a lot of room for improvement" & "it needs to make appropriate use of it". I mentioned Gwadar for its depth (in meters), not for its operation (in tonnes). Am I clear enough for you now, or do you need any more explaining???

Again, you're talking about the operation of the port in terms of total cargo (metric tons). I am looking at a completely different parameter: the depth, not the operation of the sea port. You're confusing a lot of things here, I suggest you think a little before you post. I never called Gwadar the best deep sea port in the world, I was talking about its depth in meters. And also read Post # 163.

Your' surprising me.

Whats the use in 'depth' if the Port is not used to the capacity ?

Maybe it will win in a "Miss Depth" pageant.

Sorry to say but his sole motto was to defend Pak from being tagged as "failed state" and the very cause of creation of this thread is desperation to get rid of this tag.
Its upto you how you take the thread......potential of pak or the potential which got wasted.
In your enthusiasm, try not to forget, this in essence is a Pakistani platform and he has every right to portray Pakistan's interests.
Perhaps i missed the happy hour but since none were accusing Pakistan, the term defending seems a far fetched accusation to say the least.
In reality, there is a fine line between digesting and digressing and some here actually find the positivity hard to swallow.

Read the post to which I replied. You are suffering from a massive lack of Comprehension skills. BTW a white man ,shot two Pakistanis smack in the middle of the road and your Govt ultimately paid for his return trip

Doesn't matter. You brought in India first and though honestly I did not write my post as a counter to this one, now consider that a counter.

The Bhopal disaster is the world's worst industrial catastrophe. It occurred on the night of December 2–3, 1984 at the Union Carbide India Limited (UCIL) pesticide plant in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. A leak of methyl isocyanate gas and other chemicals from the plant resulted in the exposure of hundreds of thousands of people. Estimates vary on the death toll. The official immediate death toll was 2,259 and the government of Madhya Pradesh has confirmed a total of 3,787 deaths related to the gas release.[1] Others estimate that 3,000 died within weeks and that another 8,000 have since died from gas-related diseases.[2][3] A government affidavit in 2006 stated the leak caused 558,125 injuries including 38,478 temporary partial and approximately 3,900 severely and permanently disabling injuries.[4]

CEO Warren Anderson was allowed to flee justice, and paid just $2000 to get out of india.

The 'use' is that it shows potential to be something truly great, which is why I used these phrases "there is still a lot of room for improvement" & "it needs to make appropriate use of it" in Post # 7 (go look at it if you want) of this thread. And the fact is that the work on the major impediment (the road network connecting to Gwadar) is being worked on already.

so you too are firm believer of martial race concept. any how its off topic but try to find the boxing/wrestling match result between ind and pak of recent asian or commonwealth games.
I am off with your so "martial race" mentality. We indians are not a firm believer of aggressive approach all time and believe in system and laws and we have won many fights on table of diplomacy. But history will tell you when we act aggressive it becomes difficult for countries to keep their size intact. period

Don't get defensive have noticed indians are very passive and do not defend themselves.

What a pathetic comparison without an iota of knowlege of ground realities. Bhopal was an industrial disaster/accident and Warren Anderson was not in India when it happened. He later came to the site of the incident only later. Makes no sense in arresting him as no Legal case would stand against him. Only thing that could be obtained was compensation and we got that.

But RD ?

What does it matter if it is deep or shallow or whatever, if it is lying practically idle?

Well said, 100% agree. In fact, people(a few Pakistani members included) misinterpreted my positivity for something else that I displayed in Post #7, & completely berated me on this thread. But that's ok. Part and parcel of being on PDF...

Well Indians believe in the law system..And who are you showing your machoism?

Why do you care, it was only 3,000 poor indians that died, I mean there is plenty more, where that came from. And Anderson was responsible - but he was allowed to flee, by your pathetic government, RD killed two and the guy responsible for a couple of thousand gets a free pass.
