Sorry bro I don't know of any place in Hyderabad, actually coastal regions do the best shrimp biryanis. My recollections are mostly from what my mother used to make, once every month or so for Sunday lunch. I think it was a coastal Malabari recipe. It was served with pomegranite raita and nimbu paani. In summers followed by fresh ripe mangoes or sometimes lychee. Then tea or coffee in the sitting room if the match was on ! That was the life man!

Seafood platter and khubuz sound really good. I like ME food actually. It is more simple and straight forward than ours and at the same time quite delicious.

On topic: Any reasonable Pakistani will admit that Yahkhni Pulao is better than Biriyani, except for our friends from Karachi. Magar wakay Pulao, hazar dafa zyada lazeez hain biriyani se.

I would take a pulao over biriyani any day, and I used to be a big fan of biriyani in my childhood, with the spicy raita.
