Shehla Raza was a class fellow and a friend at Karachi University with me for years! And, yes, she is not a loose-cannon. She suffered Zia's harassment but stood with her party (the PPP). She is Urdu speaker and when I got briefly enchanted with MQM in the mid-80's I used to debate with her about why she wouldn't join MQM like me. She was persuasive. But she was not the smartest student and I remember some times giving her college course lessons. Ahh, memories!

PS. NRO was a very good thing! We need to go back to the uncertainties and chaos of 2007/8 to understand that fully.

Wow thats a new one! I never knew the chiefs were down to "begging". But who did he beg in KSA for Saabs then? And for JFT and ZDK-03 in China? This leaves aside FMS for which he would have to beg someone in department of defence.....
