CM Punjab Runoff elections 22 July

All provinces should have equal say (25%)
This will end Punjab hegemony

All is fair in love and war
Kukri fall means Showbaz is PM of Islamabad only from Tarnol to Barakahu :D
Yea I know it’s all about saving Goggi Gogga group at any cast.

Not too hopeful about that.

Even a change to a Presidential system, or that tried-and-true backup of martial law would not work without improving the basics: local bodies, elections within parties themselves and regular elections, no matter what. Trying to make a democratic system work where every major party is a personal fiefdom of some kind is an oxymoronic endeavor to begin with, by definition.

You need to have an enlightened electorate for that to work, and that is where we lack, majorly by design.

Well, if we agree that it is majorly by design, then we have achieved success in getting the results we want. Hence all is well. As we can see.

For those who made that design, of course.

For me and many others like me, definitely not.

Right you are. So the beneficiaries will not allow any meaningful changes, and those like you (and I) who do (did) not agree have four choices as I have mentioned many times earlier:

1. Become part of the system and enjoy the spoils.
2. Gather the strength necessary to leave to cauldron.
3. Try to carry on as best as possible for as long as possible.
4. Or lastly, give up due to fatigue of body and mind and drown in the cauldron.

No other choice I can see. This is similar to my exchange with @SQ8 in another thread just now.

Yeah I saw that conversation...and I seem to have reluctantly gone for the option you and SQ8 took waaayyy back.

And I can predict that many here will take that option if and when able, despite all the strident claims to the contrary, unless they are already in Option #1 (which many are).

Oh no need to make the prediction, they already are.

All MPAs are now locked up at a hotel in Lahore. They won't be coming out until two days later when voting is about to take place for next CM Punjab
