Indians from India en masse on Social Media Celebrate PIA Passenger Airplane Crash in Pakistan!

So basically in the end you believe the "others" are inept and incompetent and it took 3 wise Persians to do something about the evil that lurks beyond.

More like Persian wannabes..........they look about as much Persian as a Somalian looks like Tom Cruise...........

I am checking this thread and will delete all posts which I find irrelevant.

Is the thread to talk about splitting of Pakistan or such? This is crossing a RED LINE.

This thread is about a tragedy and reactions of Indians to it. So all should stick to the topic, and exercise good judgement for the sake of humanity.

I think the moderators here give a lot of leeway to Indian posters who talk really bad things about Pakistan. It is just unbelievable.

On any Indian forum, any Pakistani poster who doesn't sound like Tarek Fateh or Adnan Sami, will be actively hounded and abused, even by the moderators.

This guy sounds like a bit of a racist, yet he's damn funny. What's his deal? Well not exactly my concern but I always chuckle at his posts.

Hi,

I will update this page since this is an evolving issue in India...

On Friday, a passenger plane belonging to the state-run airline Pakistani International Airlines has crashed near the southern port city of Karachi. According to reports, the plane was carrying 99 passengers and 8 crew members. No survivors have been reported.

Witnesses reports suggest that the Airbus A320 did try to land two or three times before crashing in a residential area near Jinnah International Airport. The area the plane crashed into is known as Model Colony and is heavily congested.

A resident of the area, Abdul Rahman, said he saw the aircraft circle at least three times, appearing to try to land at the airport before it crashed into several houses.

However, what was more shocking was the reactions of some Indian citizens who seemed apparently happy about Pakistan's tragic loss. Amid heartfelt messages, there were some comments which joked about the crash; some Indians even blatantly went on to say that they were happy this happened.

This left the Pakistanis feeling utterly disgusted and shocked at how their fellow human beings could find it in them to rejoice in the aftermath of such a horrific tragedy. While some called it "sick" others felt it was plain sadistic.

Thank you.

Still waiting.

Naofumi (I think) is asking if you think Sam or Jacob had the bigger role in the 1971 war's result.

That's a non-sequitur.

Sam got the mandate from the political leadership, and told Bewoor in the West and Arora in the East what to do. He didn't actually go out there and pull triggers, and go ratatat at Pakistani planes flying overhead.

[Diversion]I had a fairly fixed idea about what happened in the west, driven by two factors:
  • Eftekhar (Iftikhar?) Janjua's firm grip on the battle he fought; the outstanding thing was the way he changed axis once his original thrust was defeated, and caught us off balance.
  • Bewoor's general state of muddle, and the inability of Candeth to recover the situation.
However, @PanzerKiel threw out a view that has made me think very hard about the whole situation; he points out that Longewala was a spoiling operation, and that it succeeded, because it completely 'spoilt' Khambatta's plans for his own deep strike into Pakistan. That is a new angle to that most unusual of battles, Hawker Hunters vs. armoured tanks, won by the Hunters (I don't remember things too well these days, and can't remember what tanks the Pakistani formation had deployed).

A fascinating thought. Coming from anyone else, I would have dismissed it as post-defeat justification; coming from that professional officer, the thought takes on very tangible dimensions. [End of Diversion]

What people don't realise was that the Indian Army had very modest aims all along. First, there was never any thought of destroying the West, never any thought of destroying the military capability of the Pakistan Army; the Pakistani Air Force was to be held at bay, then progressively whittled down by steadily increasing the sortie rate. The Indian Navy had the bit in its teeth, and were stopping for no one.

In the East, the first phase was to have been to slice off a piece of territory in which the emigres could hoist their flag. That grew to taking up the maximum amount of space possible to re-capture with the troops at Jake's disposal.

It was a stroke of daring audacity on Jake's part to fly to Dhaka and bully Niazi into surrendering. That was all his. Obviously he had to clear it with the corps commanders and with his own Army commander. But they presumably thought that it was a good idea, so there he was in Dhaka.

So my answer is - neither did. The soldiers were the ones who did it.

Pakistanis are sensible and rational people. We are always ready to listen to anyone, even Indians and Israelis, provided they are respectful and genuine.

This is the mehman dari of Pak qawm. We will serve chai to even our enemy if he comes in our home, and give him love and respect.
Double this.

This is indeed shocking and disgusting.. But

Appreciated.

I told you many times I generally like Pakistanis based on several real interactions. Also on this forum except for 1-2 people with whom I had some panga, most were very nice. And you're truly exceptional. :-)

Thanks friend. You are exceptional too, it goes both ways.

I have a policy, as long as anyone does not abuse Islam, Pakistan, or Kashmiris, I have no problem with those people.

Those who abuse will get reported by me.

Can you reach into your Indian liberal pool and pick us out some more decent Hindu Indians? It is sad you are the only one here.

WE (Pakistani) are not unreasonable people in general.

WE respect freedom of speech and difference of opinion for the sake of humanity. However, there is the right time and right place for every manner of discussion. Talking bad about a country in its hour of tragedy is one of the gravest ills in practice of which scores of Indians are found to be guilty in this thread alone.

WE desire peace with India at large. WE believe that there are some Indians out there with voices of reason. WE are hopeful about peaceful resolution of our differences in the geopolitical spectrum and otherwise.

In relation to this topic, WE are not asking much. But please show respect to the sentiments of Pakistani in the hour of pain, and call out on the low-life scum in your camp, not necessarily for our sake, but for the sake of HUMANITY.

1. I unequivocally condemn the tasteless remarks made by some Indians. I also express my deepest condolences on this tragedy.
2. Peace between our countries is not possible until you have an eye on Kashmir

Still waiting to look like real Persians as opposed to south indians who want to be Persians..........
This is bordering racism now. Bro, do not do this.

Fair enough to that.

It's not racism. It's a fact. If a Zulu bushman claimed to be a Japanese Shaolin monk, you know he is delusional. That is EXACTLY the same with dark skinned dravidian south indians who claim to be Persian just because they follow the Zoorastrian faith.

Still waiting for that handsome photo.

Do it. Would give your racism more heft.

Right now I see a brown desi behind a computer in the US. In my mind's eye.

A weird cut beard.

And scent that comes out of little glass bottles with names like Jovan Musk.

Half are fake id propaganda machines. Besides , right wingers hate everyone who is not 'them '.
