Vidya Balan in love with Pakistani dramas

@jamahir
shivaniya bni naagin:rofl: the day before yesterday i literally had to left a meeting of my family guests, coz of not being able to control my extreme laughter outburst:rofl::rofl::rofl:at the mention of this shivaniya by a khatoon guest,---------everyone was like what the heck have happened to him,he wasn't even uttering a word for the past one hour:rofl::rofl::rofl:

yeah, especially this stereotypical qasai look portrayed by the bollywood, don't know if this phenomenon really exist among indian muslims, its plain disgusting, even an ordinary joe in a bollywood movie is shown in this uniform, who have nothing to do with slaughtering------
1204-Bangalore-098.jpg

actually in many bollywood films ( not all ) muslims don't have the qasai look but succumb to another stereotype : either as @Jaanbaz said they are terrorists or they have to be ultra-nationalist or they must be some old karim chacha, with no mention of the progressive muslim who is neither a bhakt of qaeda nor hesitates in criticizing the political/economic/social system of india... in fact no mention of the muslim artistes and writers and technicians who exist within bollywood and in fact were crucial in the post-1947 construction of bollywood.

and a constant affectation among the three stereotypes is the muslim is introduced into the story as always finishing the morning prayer... that is so funny.

i remember only two good films where a muslim was the protagonist : 'garam hawa' ( farooq sheikh wa the hero ) and 'salim langde pe mat ro' ( pavan malhotra was the hero, salim ), though i haven't seen the second film.

this must change and srk's 'my name is khan' and aamir's pk ( pk was a alien without any earthly religion ) have created space for a muslim hero in these modern troubled times.

however, i must mention one place where the qasai look was utilized... the central censor board chief, pahlaj nihalani, made a videographic lyrical ode to modi in late 2015 and it turned out to be hilarious and was laughed at by so many people... in it there is a muslim who is made to look like salman khan in 'dabangg' but in a qasai style and the result is he looks like a chindi chor ( ) :

karri pajai ah? Maria Watto?

Do you think it will be a success? The previous movie was made to cater to a different audience now the target audience would be different.
Flop and would be a super flop. Do u even know they have selectd that Pappu Fawad Khan as Maula Jutt!!!!:yahoo::rofl::rofl::rofl:

They will literally rape the cult classic.

Mann Mayal so overrated. Udaari awesome one.
I loved the typical mashriqi concept they had portrayed in Mann Mayal and the performance of both the heroines is awesome. Plus the dialogues and their delivery in the beginning esp Manno saying "Parosio k b kuch huqooq hotay hain" type were awesome.

oh jaan dy yera, oh koi sindhi wadery di teeh hosi. Opra uss kali kali sindhnia tay karachi dia kurya na kay karna ahh?

Usna naa teh dekh, Watto:lol:

Watto vi koi shai honi ha:rofl:

I haven't watched a single Pakistani drama for don't know how many years now. Last one I remember is "Aanch". I don't feel any attraction, its the same in every drama "Ishq" ya phir "Mazloom Aurat" ya phir "Rona Dhona".

Versatility like Moeen Akhtar, Rahat Kazmi, Shakeel, Qawi, Jameel Fakhri, Abid Ali, Tauqeer Shah, Jamal Khan etc and many females actresses is missing.

One thing I hate most is Humayun Saeed abay yeh sala her nai larki kay sath q hota hy? Kab bhuda ho ga yeh.

kea dikha dea:wacko: lyrics are bakvass, cinematography is good though, especially the spray of green and orange smoke in the background in the mid of the video--- i can bet its a 6 or 7 million R.S project, good for nothing and btw i did'nt know india have F14 tomcats:super:

here have a look at this one made for the election campaign of P.T.I---lyrics are simple and striking, music is great,no melodrama like the aformentioned one----will thrill the living daylights out of----:nhl_checking:

the central censor board chief is also a former film-maker so he would know financiers, especially those who want to curry favor with the modi government.

the song was a vulgarity, a oppression to sensbilities.

nor does india have a space station and space shuttle of its own. :D

nice !!

as you said the lyrics are simple and the music is striking and without the previous melodramatic assault on sensibilities.

but i must say that the song is not a march song because it is fast-paced and a bit too long and so would be difficult for people to remember... but the song would be usable in non-march situations.

a easier song would be the one you had posted from the film 'chakravyuh', the 'mehengai' song :

www.youtube.com/watch?v=GT-FGm-nSmw

also, @haviZsultan had introduced me to the pakistani socialist band, laal, and one of their songs 'inqalab' :

www.youtube.com/watch?v=qtrV6o2fCpI

it would be fair to say that satire songs and observation songs are best done by the socialists. :D
