Which one do you mean with grand mosque?
The Aya Sofya (the red one) is a museum today, the other one Sultan Ahmed is still used for prayers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sultan_Ahmed_Mosque).

i travled some historical and touristic sites from Central Anatolia(Turkey) so called Land of BOZKIRS

Uchisar town from far distance..
Touristic villigge Mustafa paşa, Ürgüp-NEVŞEHIR
Historical stone made homes of Mustafa paşa Villiage
