I think it was wrong the way Bhutto was hung. I have had the pleasure of meeting and talking to Justice Samdani. He has steadfastly maintained that the decision was wrong and there ere varoious falacies in it. However, i am no fan of Bhutto and feel that he caused Pakistan a lot of harm.

Despite having his faults and flaws, the decision to hang him was unjust.few years back i read his book, "If I am Assassinated" and it seems like he had some kind of premonition that his end would come the way it did. anyways the date of his death coincides with the death of Martin Luther King.

Bhutto is the reason kashmir issue is not settled. He was the foreign minister and he advised ayub khan to ciese fire. Then in 70s war he could have saved 50 000 troopsin bangladesh. He also wanted to build the biggest casino in Karachi. But he had some positive thoughts. He wanted to have a muslim bank a system like Eu.

The only thing Bhutto clan has ever been sincere to is themselves. Believe me his reign was fraught with all the evils of any poor regime . He was a tyrant par excellance and his reign saw people being incarcerated and beaten up. I dont think there was anything that he did which helped the people. The only exception may be the nuclear programme.
