Actually I was recently reading a Book called "Pakistan Between Mosque and Military" written by the current Pakistani ambassador to the US and its an eye opener as to how the military compromised democratic institutions and also the way they dominated (probably dominate) politics by playing one against the other and promoting people like this guy. Aim to keep power while projecting security concerns.

Basically the sole aim being to stay in power and promote a security state and have the last say on all national affairs. The main way to do this and this is my opinion is to keep the India bogey open at all and keep on playing to anti-india antics( Anti West or US not sure if we are also there in the picture who should also play an part in destabilizing as normally we are also part of the party along with MI6 and CIA ) and portray India as the biggest security thereat. Basically with the sole aim of staying in Power and calling the shots.

To avenge Kashmir, defeat by the hands of India in 1971, Muslim suppression and above all India is also a promised land because it was ruled by Muslim rulers before british came in for some 500 years(which he claims to be 1000 years). thats another matter of fact for the rest of history pakistan also had the hindu rulers.

We=Muslims already conquered and ruled over India for almost 700 years so conquering quest is not new.

700 years out of a 10,000 year history? Thats peanuts! The Mighty Mughal rulers had to get into alliances with Hindu Kings to run their empire. And yet, the Muslim empire peaked for what only a couple of hundred years out of those 700 years! And finally the empires crumbled! India still stands!

There is more to Zaid Hamid than meets the eyes... I dislike his extreme support of the military and although he has talked a little about the alternative political system, it lacks detail... but his best program is the economic terrorism series... Because of this, I can tell that this man is no conspiracy theorist and is definitely trying to achieve something much bigger...

As for India... of course it is a security threat to Pakistan... It will always remain that way.... For as long as these two countries exist...

I m all for combining Afghanistan and Pakistan into a single country... But this cannot happen as long as we have a Mr 10 Percent as president and they have a Karzai...

Considering how quickly Islam grabbed power in India.. those 10000 years have to be weighed in.. even the Mughal's whom I consider non-Islamic held power for the longest time for any conquered nation.
India is of no single religion.. or are you claiming so?
thereby dispelling the myth that is secular India today?
India is however, the largest amalgamation of cultures and religion ever known to exist.
For the record.. I consider what is the boundary at Attock river to be part of the Indian heritage. As a Pakistani, Asoka is part of my heritage, so is the Gupta empire...along with the Tughlaqs and Mughals...

As for Mr Hamid.. the less said the better.. I dont mean to disrespect him but his views dont hold respect in my eyes either.

What economic terrorism? Care to elaborate further. The man doesnt have basic understanding of world affairs and you believe that he can talk economics? Anyhow, to indulge in economic terrorism, one needs to be an economic powerhouse. Can Pakistan even afford?

I am not claiming that India was of one religion - though Hinduism was the predominant religion then followed by Buddhism, Jainism and surprisingly Judaism.
I am trying to dispel the myth that Muslims conquered India because of their faith. It was then, a routine business for kingdoms to rise and fall, foreign invaders to indulge in looting and settling in. It so happened that some foreign invaders who reached India were Muslims and the rest as they say is history.
Mughals were indeed foreigners when Babur invaded India. But then they adopted this land and settled in. So calling them foreign rulers is a gross misstatement.
Empires have had mercurial rises and similar downfalls. The Muslim rule rose rapidly, peaked for a couple of hundred years and then fell. So was the case previously with the Mauryans and later with the Rajputs and the Marathas! So claiming all credit for a mercurial rise being Islamic, IMHO, is utter BS.

India is however, the largest amalgamation of cultures and religion ever known to exist.

According to Zaid Hamid there are spiritual dimensions like the story of prithvi Raj one old man came into his palace and asked for help but he ordered to cut his fingers this old man was Hazart Khawaja Moinuddin Chisty(Ajmeer sharif) he predicted that one day Prithvi will be hanged outside India and after few years 50,000 troops of Shahab-ud-din Ghauri defeated 2 Lac Prithvi raj army and they hanged Prithvi raj in Afghanistan(what a shame). Zaid Hamid did some research and conclusion is Ghazwa Hind is final battle in which we'll capture India.
The person who will capture India will have fair color,Green eyes,small beard and he used to wear red cap thats the reason you people see Zaid in red cap he thinks he is the one.
