Your thoughts on Bangladesh's position on Baluchistan

Bangladesh has zero influence over Pakistan, you are perceived as an Indian colony, this is what you are, just accept this fact and stop obsessing over Pakistan. I hope you guys don't catch the Pakistan obsessions virus from Indians.

I don't really care about Balochistan...by the same token I don't give a toss about the 'occupied' Kashmiris.

But, I do find it hilarious...

Kashmiri Jihadi extremists are good...

Mukti Bahini was evil indian puppet....Balochistan freedom fighters are evil indian puppets

It's almost like people and nations are hypocrites when it comes to their self interest

Myanmar is a friendly country of Bangladesh unlike Pakistan-Afghanistan.:P

Yeah it is very friendly that is why they killed hundreds of Rohingyas who are ethnically Bengalis.

Please do...I can't wait to see the Islamic JF-17s take out the Rohingya borthers of the Muslim Ummah...

Get your self out of this bubble "Muslim Ummah" this is just a mirage, the sooner Pakistan realizes it the better it is. Every country is on its own.

Baluchistan and Kashmir both belong to Pakistan.

BD government should not say much about Baluchistan but should be vocal that India vacate
Kashmir.

Pakistan/Baluchistan dont mean anything for BD. As they keep on talking about internal matters of BD, BD should also sometime remind their situation. And we have no stake in internal affairs of Indian Kashmir. Apart from the geopolitics, kashmir in India is more beneficial for BD in terms of tourism. With one visa we can visit many types of places. If Kashmir goes to Pakistan then BD tourists will face extra hassle for Pak visa added security vulnerabilities.

Yeah it is very friendly that is why they killed hundreds of Rohingyas who are ethnically Bengalis.

Irony is Jamaatis and Rohingyas dont consider themselves Bengalis though they are Bengali. So their slaughter doesnt mean anything for Bengali ethnicity.

.
Pakistan interference in BD internal affairs led to BD minister talking about Baluchistan. As such I don't see any reason why BD should be interested in Baluchistan

Hmm.. thats why your parliament passed resolution after resolution condemning trial of war criminal Jamaatis.

Bangladesh is not Indian colony. We are independent country having a neighbor which we share as much history as you do.

Don't be disappointed...the moment their is some anti-India statement from Bangladesh you will soon become a fellow brother...and your current PM an Indian stooge...

Balochistan (Land of Baloch) , Bangladesh (Nation of Bengal) these two are related with Pakistan (Land of the Pure). So Balochistan has something to do with Bangladesh. Baloch liberation activists get inspired by Mukti Bahini (Bangladeshi guerrilla)'s great victory over Pakistani armed forces with the help of Indian army. So having direct support from Bangladesh is very important and has significance on Baloch fighters.

Your thought on this @Irfan Baloch

Dear Countrymen,

Regardless of our political leanings and views, I am going to say and ask this only once in regards to what our honorable Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu had said in regards to Baluchistan. I normally do not talk about Kashmir and Baluchistan.

Let's start by accepting the fact that Mr. Modi spoke of personal messages he had received from residents of Baluchistan during a national broadcast on their Independence Day.

Meanwhile since early July, India had been having trouble with the current problems in Kashmir where over 60 people had been killed, thousands injured and under a strict curfew. New Delhi has long accused Islamabad of supporting the insurgency over there.

The point here is that if Pakistan causes problems in Kashmir, India will deliver some serious hurt back at Pakistan.

It is understandable that India as the world's fastest growing economy want to be taken seriously on the world stage and long struggled to maintain a morale high ground over Pakistan ever since the beginning.

Mr. Modi's tough talk could backfire however. Pakistan had blamed India for the insurgency in Baluchistan despite scant evidence. Pakistan can alternatively find an audience to address this grief. Let's not forget that China has its ears to this reference. They have made significant investment in the troubled province as part of its goal to build a corridor that'll give access to the Arabian Sea. I'm sure they have other friends. Any form of escalation will hurt India more than Pakistan. A nation's prime minister by saying what he said would only paint his country and his people as less dependable and most of all less responsible and thereby tarnishing its international image - Especially if there is any escalation in an increasingly murky state of world affairs.

Additionally, by stating that Pakistan is the root of all problems in Kashmir is basically like exculpating oneself. Another risk to India is that it can lose sight of the actual problem in Kashmir. Couldn't it be other than foreign meddling, it can be due to the alienation of the people and land (yes, the whole thing) which India claims as its own?

So my fellow countrymen, how does Bangladesh fit in here? Your thoughts.

Yours truly.

let's not worry about balochistan. Let us worry how to free Bd out of Indian clouch. I do not think Balochis are shorts sighted like the then East Pakistani that they will be dancing on bhartis music.

Rohingyas are not Bengalis. Their language is completely different from Bengali language (Bangla). We don't understand their language at all.

Don't throw stone if you live in a glass house.Your entire Karachi city and southern Sindh will go under water before any part of Bangladesh.

It's simple - Pakistan interfered in the internal matter of Bangladesh when it discussed and criticized the hanging of the Jamaat types. Bangladesh is paying them back in the same coin. To those who think that Bdesh is a colony of India - that is utter B.S. - if anything, they seem to show more spine than others. I still don't like their cricket fans though who think that BDesh is Australia :) - but jokes aside, India has friendly relations with everyone in its neighborhood now except for Pakistan and Nepal. Nepal too will come around - too much cultural affinity.
