The international community watched keenly to see if India could force France to beg and scrape at India's feet and give India full TOT and production in India. But now we all know India is weak, and India comes begging to France and gives France billions for production in France.

The only advantage that Rafale has over J-10B is that it's twin-engines deliver 150kn of thrust compared to the 137Kn from the single-engined Chinese fighter. Even then it is not so much to have a dramatic difference.

As far as air-to-air is concerned, only the Euro fighter can match J-10B at long-range high-altitude air-duels. I expect Indian Rafales to run for cover when faced with a J-10B sporting a PL-21D ramjet missile, which the J-10B can fire in excess of 100km distance from Rafale if the Indian pilots are stupid enough to try to fight.

China will field at least 10 squadrons of J10b, how India give answer to it? by only 36 Rafale? now the mountain strike troops of IA is experiencing short of fund, the number had been reduced from 90 thousands to current 35 thousands. India either go for FGFA or Rafale in large numbers, you choose.
