Bahria town has a 60 floors skyscraper under construction in Karachi.

Any prove/evidence for under construction 60 floors skyscraper??

Stop worrying about electricity. Bahria Town have their own power generation plants in both Islamabad and Lahore, there is no such thing as load shedding over there. As much as i hate Malik Riaz as a person, he is one damn shrewd businessman. He can turn sand into gold; if he is planning a project of this magnitude, believe me he will complete it.

I don't understand the fascination with skyscrapers, and why we would need to build this, with so many other areas requiring investment - which would be beneficial in the long run.

Even Burj Khalifa in Dubai is struggling with office occupancy, 3 years after being built. If a skyscraper in that country, with a better investor climate and infrastructure can struggle, I fail to see how Karachi could be a better bet.

This tallest building part of this investment sounds like a white elephant project.

Agree, those mega tall skyscrapers are so 1990s, and i also dislike that the Chinese government has also made so many of these projects.

this place is so great for fishing lots of people's income comes from fishing in these areas, i mean why develop some thing in karachi which has some environmental value, i mean karachi is nearly a dry city with no bio diverse regions, we have very few like the mangroves, but we are trying to destroy it??

we can make some artificial island off the coast just like dubai but why destroy such a bio diverse place is beyond me?

just like we are destroying the turtle nesting place in hawks bay by making houses there?

we should increase the tourism in those bio diverse areas, and let the world know the beauty of karachi

in the north the timber mafia is destroying our northern beauty by cutting down juniper trees

dont we care about the little diversity we have got in our country

do we want to make it the middle east, desert type land?
