Will Indonesia replace India in the BRICs?

You have the unique status in NATO . You are super power . US is one side and all remaining part of NATO is other side . I mean why dont they ask US to leave NATO and join SCO .

We will not abandon NATO and our European allies to work with Russia and China against them. It is simply not logical and reasonable for us.

Look at the thread title.

CNBC is an American media outlet. They are the ones who wrote the article.

Though the first person to say this was "Fareed Zakira", the most famous Indian-American. He said that the "I" in BRICs should be Indonesia instead of India.

A few months after that, India was downgraded by S&P. So apparently they agree. :P

Why the long face man we just followed your lead & did what's more profitable for us ! Its not like the US harbors CN dissidents in their embassy & deports them to the states right

On topic, do you agree with CNBC and Fareed Zakira when they say the "I" in BRICs one day will stand for Indonesia, not India? :azn:

Last year brazil registered such a low rate did they bankrupt. The answer is no. Same with India. We will overcome this phase. Its just matter of time.

The case for Congo replacing China is strong. The future is democratic nations, not regimes like China, North Korea or Nigeria.

It may well happen but the significance of IND in the world will not diminish at all whether it be Indonesia or Iraq the same goes for CN as you'll find IND being the single largest market for your exports in the not so distant future eventually overtaking the US !
