Wide Asia support for US despite China rise

Of course YOU are jealous. And naive as well.

A non-interventionist policy does not mean one does not desire at least allies. That is allies, not friends. Allies shares political goals, friends shares moral values. The US and Great Britain are friends. The US and Saudi Arabia are allies. Get it ?

Right now, China have no regional allies. Yes, there are economic activities between China and other Asian countries, but then back during the Cold War, the US and the USSR have some trade activities as well. So at best, all China have are economic allies and in a pinch, they can renegotiate their relationships to the point of severance. Political and moral foundations are much more difficult to break apart.
Again, how can we be jealous when we don't care who they ally with because of our non-intervention policy?

Once again, I have to repeat our position of non-intervention. Due to this position, we do not actively pursuing allies or friends with anyone except Pakistan. Instead we are focusing on "economic partner" policy. We seek to have mutual beneficial relationship. Strategically, we are technically an ally with Russia but it is a passive ally as we still stick to our non-intervention policy. If we have intervention policy, then you will see us launching charming offensive politically around the world seeking to form formal alliance. However, we are wary of global politics and determine to stick with non-intervention for the time being.

China does not seek allies in a way the US does, it's a good thing China has a non intervention policy. One super power meddling with other countries' internal affairs has already proven to be disastrous to world peace. How many wars has the US engaged for the past few decades dragging the so called allies (NATO) to unnecessary wars? What China rather do is engaging in business and not training terrorists for its selfish gains, not having foreign military bases around the globe, not toppling governments because they aren't listening to what Uncle Sam wants. So why would China be jealous of the US? Believe it the US government has a nasty trait of forcing NATO allies to war and leaving friends on the sideline if SAM chooses to just like how Thatcher was extremely disappointed in Reagan when the US didn't help UK during the Falkland War.

Wrong...Not even the Swiss is that careless, and I do not use the word 'careless' as in throwing all caution in the wind.

Whether you like it or not, China does care about her neighbors being in any alliances, especially when those neighbors have historically been allies of an adversary -- the US. Think about it for a moment, on the one hand you argue that China does not care, but on the other hand, you and your fellow Chinese argues that Asians should stand together. Do you not see the contradiction here ? If you do not care, then why argue for an alliance with China ? Do you guys follow your arguments at all ? Apparently NOT.

China do not care if other countries form alliance, that is a country sovereign right. However, China do have problem with alliance that are exclusive, and target a specific group or country.

Just look at NATO. And look at the the dilemma that the East/West Ukrainian are facing. Why do a Ukrainian have to shoot at another Ukrainian? Isn't that the real root cause of Ukraine trouble?

Only the weaks and the stupids would believe the US would back them when push comes to shove. But then what choices do these weaklings have?

It would not be the first time the US to sell these countries down the river.

中国崛起必然,
衰弱也必然。

盛极必衰 ,
否极泰来,
物极必反,
周而复始
美国也如此,
现在是美国盛,中国衰,
总有一天,
美国会衰弱,
中国会复兴

China's rise is inevitable, weak also inevitable.
The United States as well.
One day,
The United States is weak,
will China Renaissance

Things will develop in the opposite direction when they become extreme.
Everything is in time and time again to cycle.
This is the truth of the universe,
This is Dao 道

That is contradictory. As often such with the Chinese argument.

For starter, you do not know if an alliance can change its principles and mission or not. An alliance that started out as purely or mainly economic in scope can find itself in need of its economic prosperity protected militarily in some ways, that was how the city-states of Italy worked. So from a historical perspective, you have no good cause to declare, ignorantly I might say, that China's leadership have no care on who joined what when those countries do not view China favorably.

Why China’s Rich Are Leaving - Fortune

Earlier this year, the best company at surveying the rich in China announced that more than 60% of the people it surveyed had already immigrated to another country, or were considering doing so.

People moved because they wanted better options for their children’s education; they were distressed about the growing pollution problems plaguing China’s cities; and they were concerned about food safety in the country, which in the latest scare involved tainted dog treats.

Maybe most surprising, two-thirds of those emigrating, or considering doing so, are also considering giving up their Chinese nationality.

The wealthiest citizens in any country are the most mobile, so the flight of wealthy Chinese isn’t in itself a surprise. But unlike rich Americans fleeing their home country to avoid taxes, the Chinese are leaving because of basic desires—clean air, clean food, good schools. If China’s government doesn’t improve these, the flight of China’s wealthiest residents won’t stop.

If you want to go pedantic, there is not much I could say. I did qualified/explained the "do not care".

Considering the maturity level we see here among the Chinese members and their supporters, I really have no choice.

I don't think you understand our words properly. We do not oppose any alliance as long as an alliance is not form to target a particular country? We care of an alliance that target a "particular country" while we will not care of an alliance that form without targeting any particular country. Do we have to keep saying this over and over again? What we envision and propose a China alliance is a future thing. Currently, we only want to warn of any alliance that will lead to instability.
