Why waning powers meddle in Asian affairs

In reality, China might actually invade North Korea if the South and America launch an attack.

There are no love lost between the North Korea and China, North Korea is their pawn, and now that China is strong enough to not need the buffer, the Chinese Interest on North Korea has started to subside. North Korean, however, is much like the Kurd in Iraq after the first gulf war, they were incited to stand off against a "Tyrant" but was struck down with someone else's agenda.

I am not personally worry about North Korea and its nuclear weapon, the people in the South and China may, but in all, that development have helped US selling their stuff, now the American will sell quite a lot of weapon to the scared South Korean and the Japanese, while North Korean continue to eat dirt.

And well, every country have its aggressive side toward their neighbour, that is probably the reason why China can never be as strong as the US as there are quite a few external factor to play, the problem is, yes, there are no peaceful rise. That point you or your forefather should have seen that from a mile away as it always repeated in history, the problem is, you can still make Vietnam strong, just you need to know whether or not you have the guts and wills to do so.
The Chinese follow the old strategy: make enemies in the proximity, make friends in the distance. From Korea to Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam to Singapore to India. The Chinese apparently love it if being surrounded by hostile nations. But hey they have friends in Africa and Venezuela. The latter is the most important.

True the US can laugh by selling more weapons while the Chinese can write more articles in GT.

With their strategy they have become what they are today from a hunger stricken nation in the middle of last century onward. That is an accomplishment!

Hunger and poverty in China are mostly caused by domestic unrest, civil war or amok running policy as the Great Leap Forward. In bad times they not only inflict wounds on themselves but on others as seen in Korea, Vietnam and Cambodia. China is usually a prosperous nation.

Anyway as for us it is time to learn the Japanese method of iron fist. Appeasement policy has led to a death end.

But Japanese have been appeasing the Americans since World War II

Japan could have become a superpower today as Germany if they won the war but both are defeated nations and accept their fate. Nevertheless the people in the world admire their countries their people and even their armies.

Both Japan and Germany are rich and powerful. Bullshit talking of "being slaves" coming from jealous people changes nothing.

No the Chinese have no strategy. They never bother to develop one. They are good in business, making money, oh yes making weapons but outside that field there is nothing.

Japanese do appease the Americans (not act like slave). Remember when Japanese car industry was on top and was going put American auto industry out of business, how one direction from USA changed it all.

You should keep in mind Japan had never been defeated in 5,000 years until crushed by the hands of America. such dramatic change has impact on the people of Japan.

You mean no country could successfully invade their homeland before the American did. In fact, Japanese army had been defeated many time by China and Korea throughout the history. You should keep in mind that no country want to invade Japan, due to their "lack of resource" islands and the protection of the sea, except the Mongolian but their aim was only to expand their political influences.

Except for the fact that gunpowder, explosives, guns and firearms, rockets and artillery were all invented in China.
Yeah...A very long time ago. I was talking within the last 200 yrs. Maybe 300 ?

If you want something more recent, the DF-21D is the world's first operational ASBM.
Which is hardly revolutionary. The reason the US do not have such a variant is because of arms limitation treaties with the USSR/Russia, not because we cannot make such a variant. But essentially, all the components for that concept DID NOT came from China.

Donald Un is heading the only country in the world to have used nuclear weapons on a civilian population,...
Without context, no one takes this argument seriously. And by extension, the person who made it.

actually, China only invented Gunpowder, The first explosive existed long before Gunpowder in 672AD with some credit dated back to 6th century BC. Greek Fire is the napalm type weapon uses explosive (Sulphur + Petroleum) to fire incendiary asphate on Byzantine Ships.

As such, barrelled weapon, such as guns, firearms and howitzer was actually invented by the Byzantine empire.

Chinese contribution to modern warfare is actually just Gunpowder and Rocket (which actually was disputed).

Japan is an opportunistic vulture, they only attack when their target is sick.

They talk all bushido (bullshito) and honor and then revert to animals when they see opportunity.

During the tang dynasty they lost so badly during the battle of baekgang that they literally spend the next few hundred years in fear of reprisals.

congrats, you and the kimchi expelled japanese invasions multiple times. oh wait. China and Korea combined are how many times bigger than Japan? lame excuse from you for not invading Japan in return. don´t you think it is pathetic? why have you drawn 9-dash line in the south China sea not the east China sea or sea of Japan?

Oh, so tell me when the first gun was made?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun

How about the first artillery?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artillery

How about the first rocket?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rocket

How about the first explosives used in warfare?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Explosive_material

Maybe sticks and stones are superior, because all the above were invented by Chinese?

Learn some history instead of embarrassing yourself. one upside of east Asian history is how well documented it is. Hideyoshis invasion force numbered near 200 thousand strong. They were seasoned warriors after fighting in their own homeland for so long. The Ming army sent during the first invasion numbered just over 30 thousand. Korean forces during the whole war was trash except for monks fighting behind enemy lines as well as their navy.

The Japanese sent their best. The Ming sent a motley collection of troops drawn all over the empire and still won.

1.) Wikipedia is not always correct.
2.) Gun and Artillery does not mean Musket (Which is gun powered by saltpetre, which is a form of Gunpowder) and Artillery does not only mean Artillery Cannon which propelled by black powder. Gun and Artillery as a concerpt exist long before the invention of gunpowder.

By the way, the word "ARTILLERY" exist long before China invented Gunpowder in 900 AD. Artillery come from a French word from atelier. Which exist before Song Dynasty between 4 to 8 century. And artillery in medieval warfare would mean projectile weapon, which was used since Roman time.

What you are referring to modern gun (Rim Fire Rifle), and modern artillery which uses Black Powder to propel a projectile, but Artillery as a concept was born in Greek and Roman Era,

see this

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_and_Roman_artillery

Just because you uses a different propelling system, that does not mean you invented a weapon. That's equal to saying the first ever British tank was build and driven by Gasoline and cannot go far and cannot go fast (British Mk 1 tank only can do 4 mph), and modern tank was build and driven by Diesel Engine Block by Germany which can go at a regular speed, so it was the German who invented the tank, not the British....

So, yes, the first ever Artillery Piece is invented by ancient Greece.

3.) Explosive existed before gun powder, as I show you already, so I am not going to talk about it again. War usage of explosive properties of Sulphur have long been in use for war. And it have no relation to Gunpowder.
