Not all are like that, I don't think Punjabi Hindus have a problem with Pakistan or even Kashmiris. The strings are being pulled from Delhi though.

You are mistaken about "everybody" joining the british army. Only the designated "Martial race" were allowed. It is something they formed after 1857.That is why you have "sikh" regiment, "gurkha" regiment, "mahar" regiment. etc.

Also find out the percentage of sikhs who has migrated as compared to the population from the rest of India. You will find the truth.

Like I said, the truth is a lot less romantic than the BBC will lead you to believe.

I met this little kid that was from Delhi probably like 12 years old. He found out I was Pakistani and was like we are from the same country. I laughed and smiled to be polite. He then said If India and Pakistan was still one country we would rule the world because Indians have the brains and Pakistanis can fight. I smiled but in my head I was like the wtf?
