As for India's victory. No doubt this was a military achievement but highly predictable, considering the odds. Remember: Even in the height of American power, General D. McArthur had to retreat TWICE against the North Korean army...

As I said, Good luck to BD from a distance. But if I were an Indian, I wouldn't be too proud of the 'victory' against Pakistan.

Have skim read the above books and there are major flows in the assertions of both authors with regards to the 1965 war. In both cases, the authors have cross referenced their sources regarding many claims but they HAVE NOT with regards to india gaining territory in the 1965 war. In fact the United States Office for Historian has quoted that by the end of the 1965 war, BOTH india and Pakistan had to return territory that they BOTH gained during the conflict:

The fact that an OFFICIAL US Government source is claiming that Pakistan had to return captured territory to an enemy that is more than 7x bigger than it is a HUGE HUGE achievement militarily for Pakistan. That is even way more bigger than the Israelis returning captured territory to the Arabs. They had American and Western support/intervention, Pakistan didn't. All you yourself have proven is that Pakistan did in fact did win the 1965 war.

We were in control of 1700 sq km of yours, you were in control of about 600sq km of ours. So obviously you would have been stupid not to pull back.

One of you people was claiming a few days ago that you won the Siachen conflict since you hold 6 glaciers or something , while it is clearly documented that you lost more than 2600 sq km of the glacier.

Again, you are making conjectures and not backing it up with hard facts. Even the sources you use are contradicting yourself as you have probably have not read them properly and fail to understand them in the context they are written in. What you also fail to realise is that EVEN IF india, had captured Pakistani territory, there would have been a Guerilla war, insurgency which would have wasted the indian army. Which IS PRECISELY why the indian army could not make any advances. IT IS ALSO the same reason why india can't take GB or Azad Kashmir despite being more than 7× bigger than Pakistan and having the full backing of the West and Russia.

You talk about fake news, but do you also believe indian claims of the iaf having killed EXACTLY 350 terrorists in Balakot and shot down an F-16?
