Why India Will Displace China as Global Growth Engine.

Your media is run by the west. Even with that, India is one of the most corrupt dictatorships in the world. One family has been ruling your country for decades.
nice try..if u have nything to say other than just trolling...ur welcome

.
to become a global engine, they can start with cleaning Mumbai's ****** streets first.

.
Then why most of your countrymen are still dirt poor? Where does your GDP go?
btw, I can see a lot of them in Korea, extremely happy with the lowest salaries in the eyes of locals.

Ooooo that will hurt.......

Alright Alright Chinese are great, rich, wealthy and Indians are poor. Chill out Chinese Big mouth. Indians are relaxed and we gonna do things at our own pace. So you can be the engine for whatever you like. Just let us know when you run out of fuel. Chill out

Question is not Why, question is how....
Apart from several trolls, this thread goes well. Its good to compare China and India, somebody insists that democracy is dragging India down, somebody thinks Chinese centralised power model works better. Only reality can show the results, lets wait and see. To be honest, India's economy performs pretty well, but China is ahead and currently performs better.

it is not the point.
i think there are many Chinese believe that India will surpass China in gdp grow rate one day and even in gdp ,from a probability point of view, near or far.what make us suprise is that why indians are so crazy about such an article writen by westerners.even you strongly believe it,you need not to tell the whole world before it become the reality.
there are also many articles which say China will surpass US /Japan........but if you ask a Chinese how does he think of it.he would say forget it.of cause he would be happy in heart but would never show it to others, for he knows only hard working can lead us to the goal. that maybe is a culture difference between us.You are willing to express your thoughts and we are willing to keep quiet before we get our goals.
anyway ,it is not a bad thing for China if india become one of the top economic countries .Xi Jinping said to us 空谈误国,实干兴邦(Practical work can make a nation prosper, while empty talks lead a nation astray.) maybe good for you, too.

Not True, Not True.

I see constantly Chinese members love very much to keep rubbing into everyone's faces of how rich and superior and great they are...a bunch of big mouths.

India won't even get close to China, forget surpassing China. India has a flawed economy that's based on debt, it's political system is flawed, it's legal system is flawed and I could go on and on. There are many separatist groups that seek independence which is unsustainable in the long term. A very poor work ethic among Indians and there are delays and fraud in most Indian transactions. Indian culture makes it highly unlikely that it will even get close to China. Just look at India and China. In China, we get things done in time and keep our promises, in India they delay everything and break their promises. Anyone that has done any business with Indians will know what in talking about. India is a very indisciplined society. The rule of law and moral ethics don't matter in India. It's just a free for all. Many Indians break promises to pay for goods and try to do under handed things. In China we have a plan and work to achieve it on time diligently.

Never deal with indians whenever there is an alternative, or else you'll be cheated at the end for sure. In business, they'll make promises with the least or [Zero intention to keep at all . Basically, this is their actual business ethics, one should consider himself very lucky should he really meet a honest indian bussiness man that will fullfill the business contracts smoothly without any glitches/ catastrophic consequences. Be Warned !

but you never try to believe them .right?if what they said are true, can you accept?

The real GDP growth rate of China is less than the official one. So if India manages real 10% over the next 3 decades, than it is possible. Can India achieve that rate?

China's real GDP growth at around 5%: CASS

China's real GDP growth, if the costs of ecological degradation and environmental pollution are taken out, is about 5 percent, Li Yang, deputy head of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, told a conference on Saturday.

The costs of ecological degradation and environmental pollution accounted for 8 percent of the GDP during the 1980s and 1990s, and they dropped to about 4 percent since 2005, Li said, while emphasizing that the growth model is not sustainable.

China's GDP grew about 10 percent annually in the past three decades, but the growth rate will be less emphasized in the coming years, Li said.

Lowering costs and enhancing productivity will become more important for the country, Li said at the two-day Central Economic Work Conference over the weekend.

Yes true
But people need to see why we think so positively despite corruption, delays, ignorance by govt and many other problems we are still growing at a very good pace that is why we compare ourselves with you & you should be proud of that that sevral developing nations like us which has still a lot to achive aspire to be you.and yes I think India displacing china as world growth engine won't be possible atleast in next 2-3 decades

Similar number of population does not make Indians to replace Chinese. Chinese certainly will come to its age and growth will slow down but will be taken over by the countries like Indoneshia, BD, Vietnam, Malaysia etc. Its not Inida that we should be talking about.
