Why does India still play second fiddle to China? | The Telegraph

Damn them evil Baniyas :D

More than safety of travel, you should be worried about getting an Indian visa.

India visa policy considers you people Somalia equivalents.

Why classify us with Somalia and Pakistan on visa policy system, China asks India - timesofindia-economictimes

Dose this give you some kind of pleasure that somehow massaged you ego? :partay:

When every major developed countries is rushing to give Chinese tourists 10 years visa, Indian Government surely demonstrated some peculiar wisdom. No wonder when it comes to inbound international tourist, India is nowhere to be seen in the world map.

Whatever you will see in India will be transparent. No skull-and-daggers games of ghost cities and potemkin villages for the world's consumption and a vast failed interior that no foreigner has seen, like in China's case.

Have you heard about the Mauryas?

You mean like the Chinese slaves who built the American railroads? Seems you still haven't stopped illegally migrating to America to provide slave labour:

What about the 'Indian' slave trade in Fiji and serving the British?
Slaves for US were Africans, for British it was 'Indians'.
Not good.

Why do Brahmin think they are superior to Dalit?
That's racist.
India need to dismantle its caste system and become civilised.
I think you will agree with me.

We are talking about where East Asian fit into the Indian caste system. All nationalities has some racism. But only Indians map every group of people into the Indian caste system. That is because caste exists only inIndia.

India is not even in the top ten. But there is this one statistic about India that top the global list that could contribute to the fact that India, despite being a huge country, does not figure anywhere in the top ten of Asia tourism.

Discrimination based upon caste is a punishable offence in India. Whereas Han descrimination against Tibetans, Uyghuirs, etc., is not even acknowledged officially. To deal with a problem, one must first admit to it. We were able to deal with our caste problem because we admitted to it. China must similarly admit to the fact that the Han majority has been systematically wiping out all other minorities. Only then can the situation improve.

Yes, we all know that. Some kind of Capital of the world?

Caste system is alive and well in India. Indians need to end this barbaric practice and enter the community of civilized nations. It might take time, but the racist Modi regime is turning back the time. Indian racism and castism will only get worse under Modi.

Modi is a Hindu fundamentalist, he definitely adheres to caste system.

'Shining India', is this not true?:o:

We thought the same way about Han imperialism in China. That you would stop brutalizing your own minorities. Xi Jinping is a throwback to the old regimes in China, and all hopes of reform and improvement in China's treatment of its own citizens have vanished.

As I had stated repeatedly, caste discrimination is openly practiced and being encouraged by the current regime. It's unique among all countries of the world. Racism by Chinese is no different than racism from Americans, Mexicans, Koreans, Japanese, RUSSIANS, Arabs, etc... Only India is unique with caste based discrimination.

The caste system is ingrained in Hinduism, so it is insoluble.

Can Hinduism survive in a modern and civilised world? Or is it too backward for the modern world?

Racism is acceptable in 'India'.

This is poor, very poor.

The caste based discrimination has been religionized. It is embedded in Hinduism. It is unique to India.

This is a “either...or... ” matter.

The Hindu nationalists wants to take India in another direction. To make India more Hindu...

After 1000 years of rule by Muslims and British, the Hindu supremists and their apologists on this forum has a clear agenda of going backward in the modern world view. They are equivalent Hindu version of ISIS.

There is a good reason why all western countries follow the principle of "Separation of Church and State". The Congress tried to make India secular, but you know what happened. India is now taking an opposite route. Good Luck!

You make an excellent point. Hindu fundamentalists are similar to Islamic fundamentalists (ISIS). Both follow an extremist view of their religion. Religious fundamentalists are absolutely disgusting. They hate and kill other humans because others don't follow their view.

Modi is a Hindu fundamentalist. His massacre of Muslims while ruling Gujarat tells a lot. He is now the prime minister of 'India' and has a license to bring about his radical Hindu agenda. Sikhs, Tamils, Muslims and other minorities are being crushed.
